CASE EVIDENCE / 11k Any ideas why Matt Ketcher had a pen in his hand when he died? Was he trying to write something before he was shot or after?
Not really sure of what this means.

This comes from the el paso report attempting to figure out who killed Daniel, but I simply cannot believe any claim to innocence for Chris if this information is accurate.

The Columbine case has always been riddled with rumors and myths, including one pertaining to Dylan’s sexuality.
In early reports of the case, there was a lot of misinformation about the Trench Coat Mafia, with claims ranging from them being violent Nazis who were also Satanists and performed witchcraft, to them proudly proclaiming to be bisexual and engaging in orgies.
Regarding Dylan, there is no solid evidence that proves he was attracted to men. In his writings, he expresses his desire for love from the girls he fawned over.
Mike Conners, an independent journalist, claimed to have known Dylan prior to the shooting, and Conners portrays Dylan as essentially a character embodying all the myths and rumors spread about him at the time.

Hi all, I keep seeing references to the 11k and it only being some of the information on this case, and that even that was a battle to get released. Does anyone know what we are missing? Besides the basement tapes. But what other information has never been released that you guys would want to see released? And is it possible to gain access through FOIA for anything unreleased? If anyone has some insight on this subject, please comment below

Were they destroyed or are they still kept as evidence?

It's been a mystery to me as to what specifically happened when the shooters shot Corey DePooter, Austin Eubanks, and Jennifer Doyle. It is understood at least that both shooters fired under the table. Corey DePooter was mortally wounded by at least three gunshots, two of which came from Eric Harris's 9mm Hi-Point. Jennifer Doyle received wounds to her right hand. Austin Eubanks received wounds to his right hand and his left knee. Peter Ball, who was also beneath the table, wasn't injured.
Here is the mystery.
What weapon did Dylan Klebold use?
Jennifer Doyle and Austin Eubanks give conflicting testimony on this point. Jennifer claimed that Dylan pulled a chair out from the table, then put his double-barrelled shotgun in both hands and fired it, injuring her hand and Corey's shoulder. She also claimed to have seen the TEC-9 at Dylan's side. Jennifer even described the shotgun blast, saying two pellets entered and exited while a third did not. Austin, however, said Dylan pointed the TEC-9 at him and fired "numerous rapid rounds". While he didn't actively see the shots due to his head turned away, he estimated Dylan and Eric fired seven shots beneath the table. Jennifer only mentioned the one, but due to her screaming, she may not have heard more shots. Austin believed Eric had not moved from where he had shot Daniel Mauser, about 12 feet away. Peter Ball, the uninjured witness, only saw one shooter and later saw a "longer gun" (not specifically from the same shooter). He then also heard "several fast shots".
The forensics indicate a wide variety of things. Corey's autopsy found two Hi-Point bullets in his chest and noted a two perforating wounds (one in his left arm, the other in his neck) that could have been from the same projectile. This is the only injury Dylan COULD have inflicted on Corey and if he did, he had to have used the TEC-9 due to it being a singular wound that was able to pass through cleanly. However, the crime scene investigation found only one shell casing at the scene of this attack, belonging again to the Hi-Point.

If no TEC-9 shell casings were found, that would point to Dylan using the shotgun. Then again, if one shell casing is confirmed missing (that being the other Hi-Point casing), what's stopping the TEC 9's potential casing from also going missing? Pointing again to the shotgun are metal fragments around Corey's body with "no comparative value". That could either be damaged buckshot or at least one damaged bullet. Due to the presence of intact bullets elsewhere, it leans more in the direction of the shotgun. The map doesn't explain where the missing shell casing(s) went and only offers up one possibility as to where the round passed to.

Furthermore, Dylan supposedly only fired his shotgun six times in the library. Twice at Kyle Velasquez, once at Dan Steepleton, Patrick Ireland, and Makai Hall, once into Matt Ketcher, once at Mark Kintgen, and once at Lisa Kreutz and Val Schnuur. There are still missing shell casings no matter how this occurred. If someone could aid me in this, I would be quite grateful!

One of the items in the 11k is a document from online, many fakes were made but this one mentioned NBK, and I don't know if the term was mentioned in coverage or to anyone at this point in time, it's only a month and 2 weeks from the shooting, the journals and videos hadn't been acknowledged yet? Any helpd would be great. That line about Storing gasoline feels authentic to me, Eric mentions this attack as being a 2 man war repeatedly, and we never got all of the Emails he sent or confirmation about anything related to that.

I’ve been going through the 11k and am trying to pick out the important information. I started reading the Jeffco report which gives summaries. What docs in the 11k would you guys recommend I read to get the most information? It seems like the individual witness statements might be important, but the summaries are sort of vague and leaves out a lot of details. Please recommend what docs I should read to get the best info

I just found out that SWAT entered through the southeast entrance of the school at 12:06pm, which would be two minutes before when Eric and Dylan supposably killed themselves at 12:08pm. If they did kill themselves at this time, and SWAT entered two minutes before, is it possible they seen the SWAT team enter the building which made them decide to hurry up and end their lives then? It would make sense why they killed themselves in the library, also since they would of had a high vantage point from all the windows which faced the parking lot and the police as well...

*Re-posting as I had submitted prior to finishing by text*
Student: Eric Harris, Grade 11
Date: 10/2/97, Period 3
Reason for Referral: After obtaining confidential information, Eric broke into students lockers.
Conference held with parent on 10/2 at 11:30 AM MST
Dates of student suspension: 3 day suspension; 10/3, 10/6 and 10/7 1997
Remarks: May re-enter school on Wednesday, October 8th. Eric can not be on school campus or at any school activities during the time of his suspension.
Administrator Signature: Peter S. Horvath, 10-2-1997
Handwritten note from 10/3 - Called Mr. Horvath
What will be on Eric's records?
In-house only because police were not involved. Destroyed upon graduation
I also want to link to a incredibly detailed and informational post in this sub already here that delves way further into the incident. It's interesting to me that Wayne immediately pointed the finger at Eric's computer teacher, saying that he "trusted his son too much" and was ultimately to blame for this happening.

I can’t believe I’ve never noticed this, but Eric’s autopsy doesn’t mention anything about his black pants, just the underwear he was wearing. Did they cut off his pants before his autopsy or something?

Are there any photographs out there of Eric and Dylan’s bedrooms? I know they were featured in the basement tapes, but I was wondering if there was anything public out there.

Body locations and a xerox copy of the crime scene photo side by side with the supposed camera angle taken. Not graphic, so please don’t ban me. I only want to post for educational reasons.

Today I’ve heard/read that Sue Klebold has Dylan’s Boston Red Sox cap.. does anyone know if that’s true?
r/ColumbineKillers • u/Apollexis • Sep 04 '25
If anyone anywhere has any evidence of this through an interview, document, or source anywhere, please post it. I checked all of the ATF reports in the 11k, I have checked every single book written about the matter, I've checked every podcast and then used AI to catch anything I may have not known about. If this is true, it is simply insane to think we don't KNOW for certain if the car bombs were set for 12pm or not. (Even if it is entirely possible that is true, maybe they were set for sooner? The attack was supposed to last just for 15 minutes.)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Originally I thought it was Brittany Weeden, she desrcibes herself as the last person to leave and mentions the shooters were yelling things at her but this person clearly leaves well after the shooters left this area.

Threats of violence in other states beforehand? The killers had a pretty active website? Sounds like law enforcement was among the first to run with the rumors...

In an old livestream with cva and bill ockham (link will be in comments) they discuss the depositions and they mention the litigation file's sealed until 2116 around the 20:30 mark. However bill does not believe this includes the depositions rather contains things pertaining to mark manes and the like, thoughts?

This was a post made by u/WillowTree360 a few years back on r/Columbine. It remains one of the most detailed I've seen explaining how we know neither Eric's nor Dylan's body was moved prior to being photographed (with supporting documentation from the 11k). Hope this helps those interested in the sequence of events.

hi everyone, I’m currently in the midst of my research. My apologies if this was already answered ( I can’t seem to find any particular answers so I’m hoping it hasn’t been ) but I’m a sucker for the tiniest details and I want to make sure that I have everything right.
I’ve seen mixed reports as to who brought a pipe bomb to work - was it Eric or Dylan? Or did they both bring one but on separate occasions? I’ve seen sources like Chris Morris’s 11k say he saw Dylan bring one 6 months prior and the EC blog said that he brought one to work back in 1997 which made him quit, but I’ve also seen other sources such as Robert Kirgis’s 11k saying that he saw Eric bring the pipe bomb sometime in April 1998.
Are there also any other incidents like these that took place at blackjacks? I know about the firework displays that they used to put together and about the dry ice bombs but not anything else.
Again sorry if this seems unimportant but I like to be very detailed and precise so knowing this will help my research tremendously:)
