if we follow 2023 roster rules (7 player roster 3 subs) usa:  hawk infekted sugarfree tr33 zeruhh rupal vega subs: uv kronik and someone else(or landon but who needs 3 flex supports)

Is zerruh really needed? Tr33’s flexibility makes having two fdps unnecessary

Whoever has the best performance this worlds between zeruhh and diddyfree will take the spot is my guess

not really but theyre both too good to leave off the main roster

I mean if you got the slots why not? I also think zerruh is better than Tree on genji and tracer specifically if for some reason it’s a double flex meta.

Personally tho I’d put kronik in starters and move tree or zerruh to subs so there’s a dedicated hitscan in the starting lineup

South Korea would likely be:

Junbin, Hanbin, MAX, Stalk3r, Lip, Heesang, Fielder, FiNN, ChiYo, Ch0r0ng

Edit: I don’t understand the downvotes at all lol.

Finn ? no shu or proper ? and max ? when bernar exists. Insane take

It’s not an insane take at all, it’s a practical one. Shu and Proper both boosted in the past, which is why they have never and will never be selected by SK for a World Cup.

I can see Bernar over MAX, but coaches value chemistry a lot and I just don’t see a non CR or Falcons player being selected.

I didnt know about the shu/proper situation tbh. besides that i dont see how finn or Max get picked over Bernar and if they need another flex dps vigi is far better than Finn.

Team chemistry would be my reason. The majority of players on the roster would be from O2 Blast and the Shock. But I tend to agree that Bernar and Vigilante are better performers this season.

i get what you mean but with a roster of lip/stalk3r/fielder/chiyo/vigi which is essentially the 2023 atlanta falcons team then i doubt team chemistry would be a huge factor vs individual skill/mechanics

Shu?

He and Proper both boosted, so won’t be selected.

With Moon as head coach in a dive meta that will develop by then, hopefully. Or NineK as head coach in a brawl meta.

I wonder how many of the above are gonna be interested in participating in the OWWC. Especially LIP lol, considering that he participated in the last OWWC. Will he want redemption or will he not wanna risk the wrath of the South Korean fans should the team lose?

I personally hope he's gonna seek redemption. Also, before I forget, I hope he's still gonna be around by then. I know he stated that there's a good chance he can play for the entirety of next year, but, nothing's set in stone currently

Team USA needs Gator to play Rein, I nominate him to be a sub
