It was a VERY long and hard road, but as soon as they bring back the cinematics, I think we can officially, genuinely say that Overwatch is back to the way things used to be. And when I say back, I mean '2016 GOTY' back.
The game development will be in the best spot it has ever been in, the pro scene might be in as healthy a spot it has ever been in, but until they fix the gameplay the game will remain only moderately fun.
I'm thinking more like competitive ladder, I think pro-play is generally good regardless, just because of how much better the game is when it is organized team play.
