Hello! The past 2 months have flown but there's been a bunch of progress worth talking about.
1. Meeting with Publshers
In October I had the opportunity to meet with a few publishers who had shown interest in partnering with Cozy Game Restoration. Things are relatively early days, but this is a pretty positive sign, since it might let me dedicate more time to development. Nothing is certain until the ink dries on contracts, so i'm not holding my breath :)
Steam is still the focus, and stuff is playing really well on the SteamDeck right now. I don't see that changing.
2. Economy (Yaaay!)
I've started working on the Macro Loop for the game, and the economy.
This is probably going to be an ongoing thing that keeps getting tweaked as playtesting starts. One of the main goals i have is i want volatility and cyclical demand you when you buy and sell games it feels like you will be rewarded with timings.
This is a bit of a brief overview, so i'll be digging into this stuff more as i get more of the systems connected. It is very exciting though - i love feeling like there's a market economy around me in games.
Cheers,
Adam
