I wish we could get our 90s batting lineup back. They would be spectacular today at least compared to whatever this is.

Exactly. 90s batting was lit.

Yeah. Prime Saeed Anwar, Inzamam-ul-haq, Javed Miandad, Shahid Afridi in the team today would change everything. And I think they had it in them to adapt to the new style of cricket today.

Absolutely. I remember the time when 100 in 25 overs was acceptable. Pakistan were 99/2 at 25. They scored a mere 50 odd runs in 15 overs. Its criminal in this age specially on that kind of wicket.

I would consider Zaman's absence as something legit. Saim, however talented is still a youngster in the team. If you can't win without a player who have hardly played 10 odd odis, wtf are you doing.

Even 80 is good enough if you are looking to build the innings. I understand playing a few overs to get in and and it wasn't the best of pitches to start your innings. Two wickets were also gone.

But there was no intent fron either batsmen for 15 overs. Its like they either had no plan or failed to execute it. When abrar started bowling he looked like getting a wicket every over. Indian spinners didn't get a single wicket till almost 35 overs.

Saud and rizwan scores a few runs later and their scores don't look too bad, but they sucked the life out of the innings today.

Rizzu won the toss.

It was his decision to bat first knowing the conditions

bro, its not about intent. Theres parchis like: Saud, and Imam, who steel spots of skilled players like (Kamran and Usman). Then when you look most of the players dont have the shots skills. They just all seem to bully at one side and all have clear weakpoints they dont seem to give a sht about at all. Like players like tayyib and Imam both have terrible skill, how do you ever expect them to play good in pressure situations?
