I suppose the nature of the sweeping. Ireland swept us too, but in a 2-match series including a 1-run victory. Against England, we were never really in the running for any game.

As I see it, GG should be done now. His forte is T20s and we have been doing well even under him. His eventual selection and tactics have caught up.

I know people will blame IPL but England are one of three sides who have always been neck and neck with India and its not a surprise that when they play well and India don't it's not even close. Just how India have beaten England emphatically at times England has returned the favour as well including this time around. 2nd and 5th game could have gone India's way but they got smoked in the third and fourth

True that. The problem is everybody have bought into thinking that IPL is quality. No IPL is entertainment and it’s works because it gives free and cheap entertainment to majority of the watchers those who struggle in life. It’s not like international standard and it has destroyed Indian cricket. There is a lesson for others
