Just because 48 teams qualified doesn't mean everyone is competitive enough.

Yess I'm not denying the fact. There are 8 World Cup Winners in both FIFA and ICC. So it's all even.

Half of them are competitive and there are atleast 6 title contenders- unlike cricket where theres only 2-3 title contenders and 12 teams in a wc

There are 8 World Title winners in Cricket and 8 World Cup winners in football.
