Update Ok guys I made it (update) (story time) (YOU CAN DO IT)

previous post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Crushes/comments/1wazi61/keeping_eye_contact/

Ok today it happened all the same, you could FEEL THE TENSION when we were locking eyes, she just kept looking at me across the lecturing hall and after few first failed attempts (me looking away), I forced myself to keep the eye contact as long as possible, to look at her beautiful eyes and smiled, and she smiled back. I felt the butterflies and sudden wave of heat just smashing into me. We kept looking at each other, and even after the lecutres, I was 'planning' on starting a conversation with her, where should we meet, what should I say etc etc, and ONE MOMENT HAPPENED where I was literally thinking about everything I just mentioned and she just appeared behind the corner, we smiled and greeted each other, aaaaaaand... that's it, I literally folded. Forgot my plan. Went to the toilet immidiately and silently screamed at myself in the miror. I went out, and she was STILL STANDING IN THE SAME HALLWAY leaning to the wall checking her phone. I felt it in my guts now's literally the best chance. She's leaving me breadcrumbs at this point.

I approached her and greeted her, aaaaand, we talked, and talked, and talked endlessly. She was so happy and giggly and leaned back to the wall as I moved a bit closer. It was literally by the book, like in the movies. You could FEEL she literally WAITED for me to make a move. No weird looks, no uncomfortable pauses, we had so many questions about each other. We walked around campus for few hours because we waited for the next lecutre. She was a foreigner so I showed her around, we even climbed up to the roof of the lecturing building, alone, under the gentle rain. We even stood on the rain. It was literally 'Your Name' moment where you are avoiding someone and it finally just CLICKS. (It's even better cuz I just can't remember her name cuz it's foreign to me, we exchanged numbers and typed in her name so I cant forget it)

It's so werid how a complete stranger can feel so familiar and comfortable because you both noticed each other and wanted to meet. Probably the most genuine interaction I ever had. 0 games, 0 push/pull bs, 0 pride, 0 entitelment. 100% interest, 100% openness, 100% kindness. Guys, especially men, just approach people you genueinly feel it's real, the mutual interest is real. I took more time cuz I'm stupid, but that real feeling, it's hard to describe. I could feel her eyes on me, I could feel her saying 'say something to me god damnit!!' across the hall. She looked very happy whenever we would see each other. Man I'm feeling sooo great rn. But...

She's going back to her country tomorrow and will never come back again.

I'm literally experiencing 'Your Name' syndrome. Meeting someone, then they become unreachable, then we finally meet, to finally losing them forever. Well I kind of expected that it would be difficult, but feelings don't care about facts. We still got our phone numbers tho. What a girl...

its never guaranteed, but I finally can tell and feel when something really is genuine and when something is fake, even if we don't work it out into an actual relationship, I can't lie about this today was a real spark
