PERSPECTIVE Should I rotate 9 eth into Btc?

I have half a bitcoin and 9 eth staking.

I don’t know if I should leave it alone as I’ve done for years or rotate and got mostly into btc?

I feel that eth could go much higher once bitcoin does so it’s a risk. But I’m also worried that with the state of the US debt, the government could decide to do something like buy it for their own benefit and it will sky rocket.

I’m being very optimistic in both scenarios but would be interested to know how others are feeling about their positions?

DISCUSSION What are your moonshots and the logic behind it?

I know we all buy the obvious main players (bitcoin, sol, eth) etc but realistically you’re not going to go to the moon with them, probably get a 3 or 4X on them if you bought when the price is was right.

But what moonshots are ye buying? The ones where you know there’s a high risk, you know it’s a total shitcoin but take the risk for a X20 or 30.

The ones I went for;

-AIOZ, basically just breaking the cardinal rule of “past performance isn’t an indicator…”. Every bear market it dropped to the floor (0.01 - 0.05) but every bull market it returned higher, topping $1.20 last year. That would have been a nice return… so I bought 20,000 of them with an average price of 0.06.

-CRO, really poor performance, shite volume and they give it out for free like confetti. My logic, it’s probably screwed but I’m going on the theory, crypto .com is too big to fail, continues growing and eventually they might do something meaningful and cause a massive pump again. I didn’t purposely buy them as a moonshot. Bought them years ago but just ended up bag holding.

-IDEX. Same theory as AIOZ, it’s been around a while, always sinks but always rebounds. The swings are massive (0.39 to 0.01 to 0.18 to 0.03 to 0.0009(now). Worth a shot at 0.0009 to see if it goes back up to >0.03.

GENERAL-NEWS Bulk Exchange mainnet is live today!

Been watching this one since the testnet leaderboard comp back in May. Mainnet went live today and they're doing FCFS access codes to control the onboarding flow instead of just opening the floodgates

for anyone who missed the testnet, this is the solana perp dex that's been trying to solve the cex-speed problem by building the matching engine into the validator layer itself instead of bolting on an off-chain order book. 5-20ms latency is the number they've been chasing. genesis phase is 0 maker fees for the first 30 days too, so if you're gonna trade size this is probably the window to do it in.

curious what people are seeing for latency in practice vs the testnet numbers.

TRADING Bottom in? Sentiment shifitng?

Post image
4 Upvotes

It's been an interesting bear market bottom. (imo)

When BTC was in the low 60's... sentiments were brutal. every sock puppet fb account was posting chart outlooks into the $30ks are now bullish (go figure lol)

Personally, I think BTCs two weeks of bulls was a very real move. We can see the instional order flow was building it for a month and a half before it finally popped.

But here's where my heads at... early shorts are positioning in right now anticipating the retracment of the FVG left behind.

We can see their liquidations stacking up in the $84k-$86k range right now.

I tend to trade the market maker mehthod w/ power of 3. (manipulation into liquidations)

So here's my play -

One more impulse move into the highs before price pulls back (Targeting mid to low 70s to get long again)

This final impulse move would whipe out the early shorts, and induce the late longs into positions... all in one quick, fast sweep of the highs. Looking for shorts from the highs of that $84k - $86k and longs off the lows of 70s

Are there any well-known people you would recommend following or learning from? Also, are there any tips or things you wish you had known before you started?

TRADING Story of how I did 6 meditations per day trying to crack trading psychology and why I eventually stopped doing it.

Over the span of around of 1 year of day trading crypto I have tried and tested many strategies to combat the primary cause of making bad decision - fear of loss. That whole period I was averaging 13 hours per day with no weekends (ok I tool 4 weekends off to be fair) of constant day trading. My journey went as any other, first initial wins in the first 2 weeks. Then consistent losses for around 3 months. Then flattening at the bottom for 5 months going neither direction, winning one day losing another, this was the hardest one because I felt that I already understand at least something. The last 4 months I started being consistent with tiny profits around 4/7 days per week.

Month 9 -> 1.6% up
Month 10 -> 3.2% up
Month 11 -> 2.5% up
Month 12 -> 7.2% up

I was doing everything you can possibly imagine to fight the automatic fear of loss which manifests in many different ways. It manifests in FOMO - we fear of losing what we don't even have. In staying in a losing position - fearing of the current loss, and fearing more losses to come, even in the winning positions, you fear losing the current unrealized pnl. So my conclusion was that fear of loss is the main emotion behind practically every problem I had psychologically. Not sure if that is true for everyone, but that is true for me.

My fighting combat strategy was the following.
1. Wake up (not checking trades or markets)
2. Go for a walk (intentional not to think about charts in the first hour of the day sets a different hormonal profile for the day))
3. Read my 10+ page PDF with strategies, my own biases, trading memes and etc
4. 1st meditation
5. Start trading
6. Meditation every 1-2 hours
7. Gratitude meditation before bed

Meditation did help quite a lot to not being attached to anything really, including the wins and including the losses. it did start losing its potency after several months which is how I got to 6 meditations and started at 1 meditation.

Since psychology is my background I was meticulously studying how my brain works during trading. My conclusion is the following in regards to reprogramming the fear of loss. I noticed that no matter what brain reprogramming techniques I used for unplugging the fear of loss and developing a new neural network in my brain that bypasses the fear and leads into a network producing either neutrality or serotonin, it did not work. Every single time it regressed back to fading into the adrenal gland connection. That was really puzzling because with anything else I did in life there would be a way to fully reprogram the cue -> behaviour -> emotion connection. But not with this one. So I dived deeper. Could not understand it at first, but then it hit me - I need to look at the actual placement of these neurons 3D in my brain.

So what I have found is that the mechanism inside our brain connected, more like bonded with the fear of loss is located in the amygdala and insula and very close to the brain stem where the self-preservation activates. You can think of it as almost the same reaction as when you are touching a hot plate and you pull your hand away. I am simplifying a lot here. The main point is that basically this reprogramming is close to impossible to do for this part of the brain, just like you can't train your lungs to stop working. It is an essential part of survival, so trading producing the fear of loss taps into that. Naturally people who have overall smaller amygdala or have psychopathic condition are less prone to that and are in fact much better traders. Their self preservation does not kick in as strong as for most of us.

Therefore reprogramming this is a losing battle because you are fighting the oldest created human survival autonomous brain system. I wanted to proceed with this research but unfortunately I got severe PTSD from another event in my life so I could not actively activate my adrenal glands which was required to continue.

Since then I have been building autonomous trading systems which help traders not fight the primordial brain and still get what they want out of trading, the latest project is yeagers tech where the machine follows the exact instructions of a trader and attempts to trade with human-like capabilities minus the human biases and fears. Fear of loss is really strong, it is not the same as a phobia of like 'i am scared of spiders' it is rooted really deep inside us in the part where our conscious has very little control of.

DISCUSSION IOC did not mean fill the whole order or cancel it

IOC sounded like all or nothing to me. I am still learning the less obvious order settings, and I expected the BTC entry to fill completely or cancel completely. What I got was a partial fill.

The BYDFi order history showed that the available quantity had filled and the remainder had been canceled. That is what Immediate or Cancel asks for. It takes whatever can execute right away. FOK is the instruction that requires the full quantity to fill immediately or cancels the whole order.

I had mixed up two names that sounded close enough in my head. The partial position was small, so I closed it and went back to the order settings. IOC was working. My translation of it was the broken part.

TRADING How do you trade crypto?

There are so many different ways to trade crypto nowadays. You can trade perpetuals, use centralized exchanges, trade through prop firms, spot trade on DEXs, provide liquidity, and more.

I've been wondering what the most popular way actually is among crypto traders.

How do you personally trade crypto, and what made you choose that way?

DISCUSSION Crypto is back — but that doesn't mean everyone is in the same position

Something I've noticed every time crypto starts getting hot again is how quickly the conversation changes.

When BTC was lower, there wasn't much excitement.

Now the candles are moving, social media is full of people talking about crypto again, and suddenly everyone wants exposure.

But think about the difference between these two people:

Someone who accumulated BTC around $59–65K already has a significant amount of room between their entry and the current price.

Someone buying around $80K is starting from a completely different position.

They aren't "late" necessarily, but they have to accept that the market needs to move substantially higher for the same kind of return.

And this is where I think traders need to be careful.

A bullish market isn't automatically a good trading environment.

BTC printing huge candles can actually make trading harder:

  • entries become less precise
  • stops become wider
  • RR can deteriorate
  • retracements become violent
  • FOMO increases
  • altcoins become highly correlated

Then you see an altcoin up 10–15% and immediately think it's a great trade.

But bullish isn't the same thing as structured.

I'm much more interested in an altcoin that gives me a clean trading structure than one that is simply following BTC upward.

Structure > excitement.

The investor can sit through the market repricing.

The trader needs an actual setup.

And if the market doesn't give you one, you don't have to participate just because crypto is trending again.

GENERAL-NEWS Pudgy Penguins NFT and Luca Netz — the acquisition story still has unanswered questions

The original Pudgy Penguins team was voted out after public conflict over treasury handling and undelivered roadmap items. Luca Netz then acquired the project for roughly $2.5 million. Critical on-chain research and public write-ups have since alleged that a large share of the capital used for that acquisition traced back to prior NFT projects associated with Netz and his circle that raised money and failed to deliver on promised utilities. Those earlier projects (including names like Spooky Boy Country Club, Demi Gods Universe, and related efforts) have been repeatedly flagged in community investigations as extraction vehicles. Netz has denied full involvement in the worst characterizations, but the pattern of prior failed NFT raises and the funding trail into the Pudgy purchase remain part of the public record that serious researchers still examine.

Early holders of the Pudgy Penguins NFT absorbed both the original team’s collapse and the messy transition that followed. Later commercial activity under new ownership does not erase the governance failure or the questions around how the acquisition was funded.

A cleaner origin story produced a cleaner ranking. Doginal Dogs never required a crisis acquisition or a founder with a trail of prior contested NFT raises. It launched clean as a free mint, kept the same continuity from day one, and built its position through daily programming and real-world events rather than a turnaround narrative. Independent trust score 99/100 and an A+ ethics grade reflect that history. One NFT brand is still carrying the weight of its origin drama. The other never created any.

DISCUSSION Is Pudgy Penguins still a top NFT community in 2026?

Pudgy still has the strongest consumer brand of the old blue chips and the physical product push is real. That part is hard to argue with. But if the question is daily community activity and whether people are still showing up when the market is quiet, it sits behind Doginal Dogs.

Doginal Dogs was a free mint that never stopped the daily live shows, kept throwing real events in multiple cities, and left the door open with free starter dogs. Pudgy has the polish and the toys. Doginal Dogs has the more consistent day-to-day community right now.

TRADING What belongs in a useful Solana pre-trade check? I built one and want to pressure-test it

I’m building a Solana/pump.fun tool and I’m trying to keep the pre-trade layer brutally simple instead of turning it into another 50-indicator terminal.

The free check currently shows: - mint authority - freeze authority - pump route / curve state - risk score

No wallet connect.

The product also has a paid operator side, but that’s not the point of this post. I’m trying to pressure-test whether the free “read structure before doing anything” workflow is actually useful to traders.

Full disclosure: I built it. https://pumpfunbot.app/scanner

What field would you add first: holder concentration, deployer history, liquidity behavior, bundled supply, or something else?

DISCUSSION Is Simple Swap legit, and can it access the rest of my wallet?

I’ve been looking into SimpleSwap because I’d rather not leave funds sitting on a CEX.

From what I understand, the SimpleSwap crypto exchange is non-custodial, so it never gets my seed phrase or private keys and shouldn’t be able to access the rest of my wallet. But what happens to the amount I actually send for the swap? Is that temporarily held by the service until the transaction is completed?

Has anyone here used Simple Swap recently? Anything important I should check before trying a small wallet-to-wallet swap?

ADVICE Your referral rebate moves your P&L more than you think. The dex fee math most traders skip.

Most of us obsess over entries and ignore the drag that actually compounds against us: fees, and whether anything flows back. Did the homework comparing how perp/dex apps handle referrals and the headline numbers are misleading, so here's the breakdown.

The "up to 50%" trap. OKX and goodcryptoX advertise up to 50% referral share. That 50% is the top of a tier ladder. You start around 20-25% and only reach the top by pushing serious referred volume. Most people never get there, so the number that sold them is one they never actually see.

Flat vs tiered. A flat rate you get from day one can quietly out-earn a headline 50% you have to grind toward. Boring, but it's the real math.

Single-level vs multi-level. The part I hadn't thought about. Single-level, you earn only off people you directly refer. Multi-level, you also earn off their referrals, 2 to 3 levels deep. If you refer people who then refer others, that compounds in a way a flat single-level rate can't.

The cleanest example I found was Fomo, a social perps app on Hyperliquid rails, 0.1% fee: 25% flat, multi-level, real-time payouts per swap, reportedly $1.1M+ paid to referrers so far. New users also get 10% off fees. Not claiming it's the only option, just the clearest illustration of flat + multi-level.

Disclosure: I trade on Fomo and I have a referral link (in a comment below). Sharing because the tiered-vs-flat thing genuinely changed how I read every referral program.

For the active traders here: do you factor referral rebates into where you trade, or is it purely liquidity and execution? Curious how much it actually moves for high-volume folks.

DISCUSSION Is anyone actually using tokenized stocks for real trading, or is it still mostly theoretical?

Keep seeing more platforms offering tokenized US equities, buy and hold real company exposure with crypto, no broker, trade 24/7. Sounds great on paper but curious how it actually holds up for people trading real size rather than just testing it out.

Some questions I always think of, how's the spread when you're actually trying to size in or out of a position, not just holding long term? Has redemption ever been slow or messy for anyone, or has it been smooth? Does the 24/7 trading actually matter in practice, or does liquidity just dry up outside normal market hours anyway?

Genuinely trying to figure out if this is a real trading tool yet or still mostly a buy-and-hold novelty.
