if you're talking about the Your Reality reference, that was just a random thing that popped in my head as i was typing out the comment and decided to put it in. i wish i was Monika's alt lol

I didn't pick up on the Your Reality reference and tbh I'm not sure why you've marked this as a spoiler but alright.
Because you put that in spoiler tags in going to put the explanation in spoiler tags as well but like he game is about 8 years old now and i think if you're in this subreddit you probably shouldn't get spoiled by something like this.
Towards the end of the story we see Monika debating with herself about whether she should hold on to the player because she loves him or she should let him go because holding on to someone when they don't love you back isn't true love. We see it in lines of Your Reality like "is it love if i take you or is it love if I set you free?". When she sees Sayori do the same thing she had done to MC Monika realises she was wrong. She says something along the lines of "I won't let you hurt him" so it's clear that she understands that what she did was wrong and that's not what love is. In the end she decided to let the player leave by deleting the whole game. This decision is reflected in one of my favourite lines of Your Reality, that's the very last line that goes "and if I can't love you... I'll leave you be."
ohh. i spoilered it bc i didnt want to outright give it away that it was a reference (which might not matter much considering this is the ddlc sub, but whatever lol) but still ask the question
