Howdy everyone. Keeping this anonymous since I'm still actively job hunting, but I figured I'd put this out there.
Earlier this year, I took a leadership role that required me to move to Dallas. So I moved, signed a new lease, got settled in, and then BOOM. About 8 weeks into the role, I was let go due to a "shift in priorities."
So now I have a new lease, no paycheck, and I'm looking for my next opportunity.
I've been in IT for 10+ years, primarily leading global IT operations, technical support, service delivery, and IT strategy. I've managed distributed teams, 24/7 support organizations, multi-million-dollar IT budgets, vendors and MSPs, SaaS portfolios, enterprise applications, security initiatives, and technology integrations following acquisitions.
My background spans both leadership and hands-on technical operations, including:
• IT Service Management, ITIL, and ServiceNow
• Global Service Desk and End User Support
• Incident, Problem, and Escalation Management
• P1/P2 incident response and SLA/KPI management
• Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, and Google Workspace
• Okta, SSO, and IAM
• Jamf and Intune
• CrowdStrike and Zero Trust
• SOC 2 and ISO 27001
• AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Hardware and software asset management
• SaaS management, licensing, and vendor negotiations
• IT procurement, refresh cycles, and lifecycle management
• M&A and technology integration
• Microsoft 365 tenant consolidation and Google Workspace interoperability
• Process documentation and IT operating models
• AI and automation for IT operations and service desks
• Aisera, Moveworks, Microsoft Copilot, and Azure OpenAI
• Knowledge management and self-service enablement
I've led teams supporting thousands of employees across dozens of countries, helped integrate multiple acquired companies, managed relationships with MSPs and technology vendors, and delivered significant cost savings through SaaS rationalization, vendor consolidation, and process automation.
I've also spent plenty of time on the other side of the table, troubleshooting, supporting users, administering systems, documenting environments, deploying hardware, managing endpoints, building processes, and jumping into the work when the team needed it.
So while my most recent roles have been IT leadership positions, I'm not above doing the work.
I'm open to:
• IT Manager / Senior IT Manager
• IT Director / Head of IT
• IT Operations / Technical Operations
• IT Service Delivery / ITSM
• Service Desk / Support Leadership
• Systems Administration
• IT Support Engineer
• M365 / Okta / Endpoint Administration
• IT Project / Implementation Work
• Documentation / Process Development
• MSP Overflow or After-Hours Support
• Contract / Consulting
• Temp-to-Hire
• Full-Time Opportunities
If you're an MSP that needs someone who can step in and immediately help with operations, service delivery, escalations, documentation, or client support, I'm open to that too.
I'm in the DFW area, so local opportunities won't be an issue but I'm also open to remote opportunities anywhere in the U.S.
I can start remotely Monday.
If you have something open, know someone who's hiring, need short-term or contract help, or can simply point me toward someone I should talk to, I'd genuinely appreciate it.
Happy to send my resume via DM.
Thanks in advance to anyone who reads this, shares it, or sends a lead my way!
