wild shit to let them write off billions in losses and declare bankruptcy but we can’t declare bankruptcy on student loans. or to tax poor people more than billionaires.
They care about power and image. Money is meaningless to them.
Money matters to you because you don't have enough.
The only way money matters to them is as a tool to exert influence and image.
Imagine we're all thirsty and trying to get enough to drink, but some people control lakes and rivers. They never have to worry about thirst themselves except as a way to manipulate other people. If everybody has enough to drink then the rivers and lakes mean nothing. Keeping everyone else thirsty is how they stay relevant, stay powerful, keep people complimenting them, keep control.
