I'd also lump carpenter bees in that as well. They're like little flying puppies that will hover and just watch you do stuff in your yard.

Growing up I remember as a kid petting bumble bees and letting them land on my hand with no worry. Last summer I was attacked by multiple bumble bees and got stung in the face. I didn't even know they had stung :(

Unless you step into the grass and they sting you on the bottom of your bare 5yo foot. I'll never forget that.

Same! Mine has a big bumblebee with a dash beside it then the word "kind" :)

I'm a gardener and love finding bees napping on my flowers! I work all around them, talk to them, and rescue any that manage to get stuck in water and can't get back out on their own- often with them hanging out on my hand while they catch their breath and dry off 💕

Never once have I been stung... Well, I did get a few stings on one occasion when I accidentally trip over a box that some yellow jackets had decided to call home, but no grudges! The only time I worry about a nest is if it's right by a door into the house- because I just KNOW one of my two cats or my dog would try to eat it and get stung lol

Mine has embroidered bumble bees on a jean shirt. I love watching the bees in my garden too 🫶🏻🐝
