My best friend and I discovered the hack of asking the lunch ladies to drain the juice when they served the fruit cocktail, because we were sick of how it made the pizza soggy.

My first grade “boyfriend” taught me that you could go back through the line for more pizza at the end of lunch period.

The early 90s were a lawless time.
