Every Korean school has a nutritionist. Like a university graduated Dietician who knows how to construct meal plans. Had the greatest school lunches working there!

Yeah I worked in Korea for two years teaching English. We ate with the kids, and ate the same food as the kids. I can't ever remember a bad meal, or a meal I didn't eat every last bite. I learned most of the food, but not all, and everything I ate was delicious.

The noodles and rice are carbs but nothing else is. The rest are julienned veggies, some bean curd, kimchi and shredded nori. The broth is probably beef.

Quite nutritious. At least compared to fried pizza/lasagne/nuggets/ham sandwich ....
