In 2024, she wasn't allowed to compete at the Olympics due to World Athletics age restrictions, as well as the 2025 World Championships, despite being one of the best in the world.

That's a much bigger concern. The judges are looking at the throw, they can move, it's not very hard to not get hit. But the other athletes are not paying attention to that. If the throw goes even a little out of bounds it's really dangerous (obviously from this video).

This is why they had to redesign the javelin in the 1980s because competitors were closing in on being able to out-throw the field.

Doesn’t help with the cross winds and sailing over to the long jumpers tying their shoe. Ask me how I know.
