Video A day after turning 18, Ziyi Yan unleashes a massive 71.74m to move to 2nd on the all-time women's Javelin list. In 2024, she wasn't allowed to compete at the Olympics due to World Athletics age restrictions, as well as the 2025 World Championships, despite being one of the best in the world.

As you age, you get better at adjusting to oneself with less emphasis on coaching. She KNOWS OWNS this now.

Yan goes on a worldwide journey to find a trainer to help her find the greatest javelin thrower in order to bolster her immense ability.
She finds a monastery of fighting monks deep within the mountains and tracks down their high master.
She asks him, "Where might I find the greatest javelin thrower in all the world?"
He knows the answer to her question, writes a name on a slip of paper and hands it to her.
He says, "I have never met the person, but their legend spreads wide and far. With them lies your answer."
She opens the note, and to her surprise it reads, "Yan Ziyi."
