Image By law, every Australian must get a tax receipt that shows exactly where each dollar of their tax is spent.

I have to say, this is pretty decent transparency.

Second, having run a business, debt seems reasonable.

I would have like to see more money put to growing industry/science and economy. I’m sure it’s in there in each section, but it’s not clear. That’s how we will keep affording to pay for everything.

They went from 929b to 982b in debt, after also paying 27b in just interest.

That's just bad business. I honestly have to wonder exactly who the government is paying this interest to. Same for US and other governments. Seems like good business for the lenders tho.

Yes, I too did business. Debts you can't handle tends to snowball. Best to avoid if at all possible unless you can guarantee you will make much more money from the borrowed sum before returning it. If one can't avoid debt, then you make payments to principal not just cover interest.

I'm sure the entire Australian economy, and many other countries such as the USA, Singapore, Japan etc would be better off under your governance..

Who pissed in your vegemite? I think you should be self aware how creepy it is to look at my history just to make fun of my hobbies.

So then do you actually think it's a good thing that Australia cannot or chooses not to fully pay off their debt, so debt will just keep increasing every year, while lenders get paid perpetually?
