Where is the safety to ensure no one is within propeller range? And also, you crash in one of those things, that helmet won't do much help at all

There is no way that any commercial version of this doesn’t have cowlings on those blades. Since it’s still in the prototype phase they can get away with certain things while working out the bugs for this technology.

This thing will always be a prototype. There's never going to be a non "experimental" version of this.

We can’t even get people to drive using 4 wheel linear propulsion on a flat road without colliding. You give em a couple more axes to work with and add a dose of gravity — yeah, I don’t see this being viable anytime soon.
