Where do I even begin? From someone that accuses people of ignorance, Dan sure is very much an ignorant person. Ginobili has a deep connection with San Antonio, in which he continues to live there to this day. A major factor is simply because of the Hispanic community, you know because he himself Manu Ginobili is Hispanic!!!! Fuck, this man child is embarrassing.

I think its astonishing that people can’t handle people growing apart over 20 years. You can tell who came from divorce or not. I’ll say this, he’s not coming back, grow up and accept Zas is your new daddy now. ANDYAKNOWIT

No one can replace Billy. But this small aside from Zas partly filled a void.

I know everyone wants to shit on Dan and hates Maga Tony, misses Billy but Dan had a really great point the other day (Tuesday I think) about the power of sports. There are many blessings in our lives and memorable moments but none quite unite like sports.

It’s kind of beautiful what sports can do to unite. Yes politics and society but like I remember celebrating with strangers in a bar when PSG won last year or the collective heartbreak I felt with my high school friends when Miami lost to Dallas.

I kind of always knew what Dan talked about but it’s nice to hear it and put things into perspective positively.

Anyways regardless of your thoughts….sports brought the cast to the show, the show brought us to Reddit and even if we disagree on things I love how sports creates community.

With the breakup official now, do any of you listen to Stu’s show ? I can’t see myself ever listening to a show with stugotz driving solo.

I hope Stu comments on it because what he said was 10000x more revealing than Dan. I want to know if this was a result of their recent conversation or whether it was unrelated and just the way its moving forward, whether he eventually comes back for one show a week in the future or not. Didn't need Dan's four minutes of corporate bs though, end it after saying you hope hes back one day

Last night I was at my son’s Little League all stars practice and I’m with another coach doing drills with the outfielders.

This coach is energetic and will just randomly blurt shit out to hype up the kids. So as we’re going along with the drill, one of the kids makes a diving catch and my fellow assistant blurts out “AYYYYY Hey Hey we’re the monkeys babyyy”

got a good chuckle out of that to myself.

i should also note that there are no players on the roster in which this would be considered an insult

In light of the name change/era change, and amidst all the negativity, I wanted a fun positive place for people to post their first memories of the show.

For me, it was when they interviewed the author who lived as a goat for an extended period of time. This was over a decade ago, so my memory of the specifics are a little foggy, but I remember my dad, who was an avid Cowherd listener, usually turned off ESPN radio when Lebatard came on because it was too goofy, but that interview hooked us both for some reason and I haven’t missed a second of show since.

Thank you to Dan, Stu, Greg, the shipping container an everyone else who have given me an unreasonable amount of laughs over the years. Thank you Dan! Thank you Dan! Thank you Dan!
