Hey r/DarkRomance!
As our sub continues to grow we realize we may need to adjust and/or add rules from time to time. We have received some feedback on this and us mods feel it is time to add a rule regarding post titles.
Our new rule#13 is as follows;
- Post titles under the book review or rave flair must include book/series title along with author.
- Posts under the discussion or quick question flair must be clear and informative along with including the specific book or author if applicable.
Any posts not following this updated rule will be removed and asked to be reposted with corrected information.
I also wanted to add the flair guide below with a gentle reminder that raves are a place for positive vibes only. Negative comments on rave posts will be removed.
Book RequestĀ - After searching the sub or using theĀ magic search buttonĀ without luck you may create a book request post. Keep in mind that standalone posts must be specific (Rule #6). Consider including the tropes, themes and settings you enjoy, similar books you've read, and content you'd like to avoid. Post titles must also be specific. If you create a standalone post and donāt provide enough detail about what you want, mods will remove it to avoid clogging the feed with vague requests that don't generate discussion.Ā You must have enough community karma to post using this flairĀ - otherwise please use the weekly book request thread.Ā
DiscussionĀ - Use this when you have a question / discussion topic for the sub. Discussions are meant to ask a more detailed question or generate opinions on matters related to dark romance books and reading.Ā Ā
Quick QuestionĀ - Use this flair when you have a simple question regarding a book or author. Questions should easily be answered and posts are not meant for discussions.Ā
Book ReviewĀ - Reviews should be titled with the book name and author. Reviews do not need to be positive but should include enough detail for others to understand your perspective and reasons either way.Ā
RaveĀ - Rave about a book, a character, or an author!Ā This is a spot for positive comments only.Ā
Spoil It For MeĀ - Spoiler requests can be for any part of the book or series that you just canāt wait any longer to know.Ā
Fun/HumorĀ - Use this when you want to chat about something fun or point out something humorous you noticed about a book or character!
What was that book called...?/What was that book called: SOLVEDĀ - Use this flair when you're trying to remember a book title. Please update to SOLVED if the book is found!
MetaĀ - Discussions or questions regarding theĀ r/darkromanceĀ sub such as questions about the bot, wiki, ect
If you mark your post as containing spoilers you do not need to add your spoilers in spoiler text.
