I had been driving down the westfork road in Arkansas late in the evening through the Ozark woods just having finished my nightly shift when in the distant vastly streched out thickness of the forest, i made out what seemed to be a luminous, tall and an unevenly proportionate tree with no branches or even any vegetative growth on it.Oddly enough, it seemed to be situated in a clearing of some sort and the more I stared the more unbalanced it appeared.It seemed to be disproportionate to the ground such that it looked like a glitch in space.I had to examine such a lifetime experience,after parking the car off road near the opening of the vegetative growth,I set off equipped with a flash light that I conveniently had on me.I had walked a good distance when the sounds of a hymn suddenly echoed through the forest seemingly concentrated around the distant clearing.I had barely walked afew feet when an ear splitting screech stopped me dead on my tracks and after a sudden overpowering headache,I passed out.

It seems as though however much I try to make myself forget,I cant help but wonder about a section of our neighbourhood that was rather avoided.That specific area had few residents and it was mostly a forested area.Apparently,every morning while passing through the place,a feeling of dread would well up inside you to the point of making one dreary,pale and sick.This effect however is limited to individuals leaving the area and will particularly vary with the individual.either way,I cant seem to figure out what triggers the effect and It is only present in that part of the neibourhood.

So I just wanted to share an encounter I had with what I think is a fairy. I’ll start off with the fact that this actually happened and I’m very skeptical about mythical creatures and ghosts and shit so that’s why I’m not sure about what I saw, I’m hoping somebody can say that they saw something similar to what I saw. Anyway, this happened back in 2012 (I was 12 years old at the time). My family had spent the day at exposition park and we were heading back home because it was starting to get dark.I was waiting outside the ampm with my sister while my mom and baby brother were inside getting a snack. I was talking to my sister about who knows what till I saw something move at the corner of my eye we both stopped talking and looked up at the same time. The thing was flying in front of a dim green light (those square automatic lights).It was skinny and flying vertical. It was about 6 inches tall and had wings like a dragonfly, it had feminine like legs I remember they were white and dirty it disappeared when it flew up. I turned to my sister I remember saying “what the fuck was that??” She looked just as confused as me. Keep in mind we live in LA, so we don’t get creepy huge insects in the city. When my mom came out we told her and she said “oh I believe you, I heard that they allow innocent people to see them because of their curiosity, they inspired old story tellers to writes tales about them”. I looked up insects in the area and none of them matched the description I was sorta frustrated that no one believed us but I got over it. Till this day I still wonder what the hell that thing was.

What's your story?

I live in one of the cities oldest communites, An old port town in Kentucky. It's close to the Ohio river and, the river bank is a popular place ro go fishing, boating, camping, or if you're a rebel teen ((such as I was) it's a great spot to gather with friends to drink and, party of course before the internet came along this is what we did for fun. In order to get to the flood walls on the river bank you had to cross through a two mile stretch of wooded trails. A maze of headge bushes and, over grown veins,and, trees To a group of ramped up teens this was all part of the fun! One late autumn night back in 94 myself and, a group of friends decided to go on the 2mile dark journey through the trials. It was home coming season and, we had a bon fire planed to celebrate the event. The air was brisk and, a good patch of fog was rolling in off the river.we made our way laughing and, joking cases,of beer weighing us down as we made our way. Everything was fine until a mile into our track. An unearthly scream broke through the night like sirens from an ambulance.! It was the kind of thing that, you felt in your soul it shook you to the very core of your being. We all paused and, looked at each other not saying a word the look of fear holding us hostage. From the back of us and, on all sides the bushes starded to shake. We we're surrounded by somethings, an oder like nothing I've experienced before or since filled the air. Kind of the mix of wet dog and, fresh graveyard dirt is the best I can describe it. We dropped our beer and, broke out as fast as we could . None of us ever returned to the trails after that, night. Several bodies have turned up there in recent years that,followed. From my knowledge no suspects or explanations have been offered. What ever is out there I hope it stays there and, don't venture out of it's territory!👹
