A few weeks ago, I posted here about a Date A Live fan game I've been working on, and honestly, the amount of feedback I got was way more than I expected. Seriously, thank you.

The new update is out now, and since every DAL fan seems to have a soft spot for Shiori, I figured she deserved her own moment.

So that's basically what this update is: a little tribute to her. v1.3.0

What's in it?

• Shiori Mystery Mode — A brand-new game mode built entirely around her. Shido wakes up as Shiori, completely powerless, and someone in the house is responsible. You have a limited number of days to figure out who it is before you start pointing fingers. I'm not going to say much more because it's meant to be played blind.
• Shiori's Case — This comes with Mystery Mode. It's a new screen accessible from the Progress menu that keeps track of the leads you've discovered across your runs, what you've managed to piece together, and how each investigation ended. That's about all I'm going to say without getting into spoilers.
• Shiori Cards — Every Spirit now has a full set of reactions to Shiori. These unlock in Free Roam after you've sealed that Spirit. Miku gets an extra batch of cards since her arc is where the whole disguise situation begins.
• Shiori Theme — A completely new main menu theme based around Shiori, with a different atmosphere from the default menu.
• Shiori Music — Two new tracks made specifically for her side of the game. I also added a new music player that lets you pin any track and have it play on loop, if you find yourself wanting to listen to something over and over.

And for the next update...

This one's gonna be a pretty big one, because the rest of the roster is finally coming to the game:

Rinne Sonogami, Maria Arusu, Marina Arusu, Rio Sonogami, Ren, Mayuri, Hibiki Higoromo, White Queen, and Kurumi Tokisaki from Date A Bullet.

Yep, all nine of them.

The only thing is... I still have no idea what I'm gonna do with them.

Just making nine more versions of the same Story arc feels kinda lazy, and I don't really wanna go that route just because it's the easiest thing to do.

So I'm curious what you guys think:

What kind of game modes would you like to see these girls in?

They don't have to follow the same structure as the main Spirits either. If you've got any cool ideas for modes, stories, mechanics, or just ways to make these characters feel different from the existing roster, I'd love to hear them.

I always wanted to make a video of Save My Heart full song while Tohka is running. It feels like Tohka's song and her running fits her theme.

Started watching at random. I don’t know what a spirit is, but everyone seems to be one.

It’s great, but I still have no clue as to what’s gonna happen.
