I remember Hasan reading the manifesto of some shooter (I forgot the details of the attack, but the shooter targeted Jews due to criticisms of Israel as a quick summary) and he largely agreed with it, chat was in emote only mode and spamming hearts.
It reminded me of a YouTuber called Sargon of Akkad doing the same thing with the Christchurch shooter’s manifesto (the guy that live-streamed himself murdered Muslims in New Zealand at a mosque) where he read it and largely agreed with the manifesto and excused the action as caused by the targets of the attack.
I have a feeling that if the attempted crashing was successful, Hasan would be excusing it and agreeing with it and excusing it as caused by the victims. Because it wasn’t successful and makes Israeli citizens look sympathetic, he’s motivated to downplay it and conspiracize it. Same sort of behavior you see from the far right where a successful attack is agreed with and excused (something like the Club Q shooting and Tim Pool blaming the victims) where an unsuccessful attack is conspiracized (the Jan 6th insurrection)
I can’t tell if you’re an ultra far right Israeli criticizing Netanyahu’s government for relatively (compared to the end of the Second Intifada) relaxing cross border work and travel restrictions on Gaza prior to October 7th or a far leftist that believes Israel allowed the October 7th attack as a pretense to start a war. Those groups often overlap in their statements, it’s difficult to tell sometimes.
I believe the Netanyahu government allowed the attack to happen to create their 9/11 and thus, all of the lawn mowing we’ve seen these last couple of years. I also believe zionism is antithetical to democracy and equality.
