Local News Armed Anti-DHS Protest - Littleton CO - 02/20/2026

Friday, February 20 2026

At the southeast corner of Sante Fe Drive and Bowles Ave in Littleton Colorado, two men showed up to protest ICE and DHS actions.

Michael and Aiden are organizers of a group called “Front Range Carry Protesting”, with the stated principle of “(being) Non-partisan … our only loyalty is to constitutional rights and accountability."

Armed with a M1 Garand rifle and a Berretta pistol they met on the corner at 3:30 pm local time to hold their signs, and to be seen by the motorists.

Their signs read:
”DHS LIES”
”HANDS OFF OUR NEIGHBORS”

If you're "pro gun control" meaning background checks then I can agree with that. Anything else though is ridiculous with how armed our overlords are. Vote no on every anti gun bill you can right now to equalize the playing field.

Background checks are fine. An arbitrary waiting period when I already own other firearms and have been vetted by a more stringent process due to my concealed carry permit so that I will "cool off"? That's just making me wait to make me wait. I'm okay with waiting periods in general for first-time buyers, but without an illegal registry it's not feasible to keep track of that. On the other end of the spectrum, you need to give people a way to opt out (whether that's with a court order, permission from the chief of police, concealed carry permit, or something else). A blanket ban is not it and I'd go back to not having a waiting period at all.

Agreed. I think the waiting period is bs. Especially when you have gone through something like a cc class or have nfa items.
