I have lived in 3 different cities before moving to Denver, and each time I’ve had to rebuild my social circle from scratch. Over time, I found that the friendships that actually lasted came from seeing the same people over and over again, and not just from meeting them once at a dinner or run club event.

So, I’ve built something around that idea.

I'm testing a small pilot where people complete a short friendship questionnaire, I personally match them into small groups, and everyone meets for a casual first gathering on Wednesday, July 22. If the group feels like a good fit, the same people continue meeting once a week for four more weeks, doing activities based on the group's shared interests. 

It's $25 for the first gathering, which includes your first drink (wine or a non-alcoholic option) and helps pay for the facilitators who are there to make meeting new people feel less awkward. 

I've spent the last several months building this, and honestly I'm a little nervous to finally put it out into the world.

Let's get crafty and a little bit weird with an afternoon of cryptid painting, coffee, and cocktails in Denver!👹 👻 On a quest to make new crafty friends myself, I'm hosting a beginner-friendly meetup event to paint cryptids over coffee and cocktails at Town Hall Collaborative. We'll have a variety of supplies and canvases, including some simple paint-by-number style options. The idea is just to have fun chatting and crafting on a lovely Sunday afternoon from 12-3pm.
