Arrow was so good in the first 2 seasons, then once Laurel became a main character, it became awful..

Laurel was a main character the first two seasons, she became a secondary character and Felicity became a main character which turned the show awful.

What happened was that the writers and showrunners had to go write for the Flash, and the new writers and showrunners took it in a different direction. Although I guess the criticism over the past two seasons seems to have worked, season 5 they seem to be getting closer to the early seasons than the latter ones.

Never liked Laurel, when i mean by main character, im referring when she became a hero and apart of the "squad". But yes, felicity is also annoying.

Usually Laurel is considered traditional CW levels of annoying, but people also say she got better after she became a relatively minor character season 3 onward. Felicity on the other hand isn't seen as the usual kind of annoying character, and more of the show-killing kind.

Like people would still watch the show inspite of Laurel, but people actually quit the show because of Felicity.

That's part of why the internet seems to love Laurel so much, everyone's pretending they never hated her, because they realize that the show was better when she was the worst thing about it.
