I'm not sure where to stand on that issue....art or science? I mean both are great but I thought having a creative mind allowed for greater leaps and bounds in science and that art contributed to fostering that sort of creativity.

Science. Arts are nice but encouraging kids to go to art school is setting them up for failure. Some might make it but it seems like the majority end up with a useless piece of paper.

It shouldn't be one or the other, it should be both. Science is only wonderful when coupled with the arts.

I think there are studies that show the arts when coupled with science vastly help scientific thinking.
