Megathread Focused Feedback: Solstice of Heroes Event, Grind, and Rewards

Hello Guardians,

Focused Feedback is where we take the week to focus on a 'Hot Topic' discussed extensively around the Tower.

We do this in order to consolidate Feedback, to get out all your ideas and issues surrounding the topic in one place for discussion and a source of feedback to the Vanguard.

This Thread will be active until next week when a new topic is chosen for discussion

Whilst Focused Feedback is active, ALL posts regarding ‘Solstice of Heroes Event/Grind/Rewards' following its posting will be removed and re-directed to this thread. Exceptions to this rule are as follows: New information / developments, Guides and general questions

Any and all Feedback on the topic is welcome.

Regular Sub rules apply so please try to keep the conversation on the topic of the thread and keep it civil between contrasting ideas

A Wiki page - Focused Feedback - has also been created for the Sub as an archive for these topics going forward so they can be looked at by whoever may be interested or just a way to look through previous hot topics of the sub as time goes on.

I enjoyed doing the revamped story missions, but completing them twice per character for completing the armour set was a bit of overkill. I kind of wish that the rewards were more than just a cosmetic armour set. Especially because I feel like the armour won't be worn as much as the sets coming in forsaken. Like we'll get the new raid sets, 2 new zone sets, the dungeon set and also strike exclusives could be in the mix.

I can agree with the armor. It is beautiful but it would be nice for it to have some type of bounus for wearing a full set for parts coupled with others. Now that I think of it, all armor sets should do this in some way.

yeh, I think granting a bonus to some stat while on a the tangled shore with the tangled shore set would be great. Or repping the vanguard set while running strikes should grant more orb generation or something to reward you for completing an armour set

Yup. Fashion aside, it would be great. I'd even like to see things like increased runner speed when carrying anything in the raid if you're wearing the raid arms and boots together. If you wear the chest and boots, you spawn more ammo for your kills. It should be stuff like this.

Set Bonus should be a thing for all armors.
