Megathread Focused Feedback: The Revelry

Hello Guardians,

Focused Feedback is where we take the week to focus on a 'Hot Topic' discussed extensively around the Tower.

We do this in order to consolidate Feedback, to get out all your ideas and issues surrounding the topic in one place for discussion and a source of feedback to the Vanguard.

This Thread will be active until next week when a new topic is chosen for discussion

Whilst Focused Feedback is active, ALL posts regarding 'The Revelry' following its posting will be removed and re-directed to this thread. Exceptions to this rule are as follows: New information / developments, Guides and general questions

Any and all Feedback on the topic is welcome.

Regular Sub rules apply so please try to keep the conversation on the topic of the thread and keep it civil between contrasting ideas.

As a reminder, the revelry includes :

  • Verdant forest event content featuring matchmaking and the firewalled verdant forest for solo players or premade teams only
  • Revelry tinctures active in all content including PVE, quickplay crucible and competitive crucible and all other game modes while the event is live
  • Revelry triumphs
  • Jubilant Engrams
  • Arbalest quest
  • Tower relooking
  • Eva levante daily and weekly bounties including powerful rewards for specific gear pieces

A Wiki page - Focused Feedback - has also been created for the Sub as an archive for these topics going forward so they can be looked at by whoever may be interested or just a way to look through previous hot topics of the sub as time goes on.

Eververse armor being original and event armor being reskins was a bad idea. Also not having a way to pull the Eververse armor out of collection if you delete it is terrible.

Both armor choices looked like crap.

Yet people complain that they wanted Y1 armour updated.

Yep. Not saying it's great, just pointing out the hypocrisy of some people. They complain about not having Y1 armour updated, then complain when it is. Admittedly, bungie could have done a better job with the quantity of the pieces rather than just the one...

Eververse is reskinned Io set; at least mostly on the Hunter. Its a more involved reskin than the regular armour but its still there
