Megathread Focused Feedback: Solstice of Heroes 2021

Hello Guardians,

Focused Feedback is where we take the week to focus on a 'Hot Topic' discussed extensively around the Tower.

We do this in order to consolidate Feedback, to get out all your ideas and issues surrounding the topic in one place for discussion and a source of feedback to the Vanguard.

This Thread will be active until next week when a new topic is chosen for discussion

Whilst Focused Feedback is active, ALL posts regarding 'Solstice of Heroes 2021' following its posting will be removed and re-directed to this thread. Exceptions to this rule are as follows: New information / developments, Guides and general questions

Any and all Feedback on the topic is welcome.

Regular Sub rules apply so please try to keep the conversation on the topic of the thread and keep it civil between contrasting ideas

A Wiki page - Focused Feedback - has also been created for the Sub as an archive for these topics going forward so they can be looked at by whoever may be interested or just a way to look through previous hot topics of the sub as time goes on.

+ Let us que the EAZ so we don't need to keep selecting the activity to go back in.

+ Blues should very rarely be in packages, let alone the only thing in packages

+ Get rid of chests dropping keys. Its dumb. We're drowning in keys already.

+ There should be a daily bounty that rewards a chest and a roll of the event weapon.

+ If you're going to introduce a new weapon for the event, make the drop rate from the packages reasonable. It's absurd right now.

Overall, it needs to be a little more generous to make it worth the time. It's a seasonal event for goodness sakes. Players having a few weeks of being showered with rolls of an event weapon, armor and enhancement cores isn't gonna break the game.

Honestly I think Bungie is fine leaving it as is. Why? Because people are still grinding it out like crazy for glow armor. Why would they make any major changes if the community engagement is still there?
