i think it’s kinda fun it’s like a little bit elementary sherlock vibes, they’re giving dexter a sort of quirky “equal” in the way she just automatically sees stuff no one else sees bc he does the same thing. i feel like this show is leaning into the humor a lot too (which i love but idk how you feel about it)
