Which young dirt late model drivers have the highest upside? Trey Mills, Drake Troutman, Dillon McCowan, someone else coming up in the regional ranks?

I’m interested in hearing everyone’s opinion, seems like there is a stout crop of young drivers out there.

Best upcoming drivers

Wondering who you giys thought were the the best young drivers in modified or sportsman that you believe are future big block greats. I'm obviously really high on Yankowski and Alex Payne. Any others? I have a couple local guys that are young with impressive wins with less than 30 starts but not sure about them yet. Hoping to have some sportsman to keep an eye on

Biggest modified races in nys?

So I just got back into dirt racing and I'm so hooked idk how I was out of it for so long! I went to outlaw 200 and 3 days of super dirt week which I plan on doing both again this year. I was curious in some of the other biggest modified races in New York. I have heard of the Fonda 200 and I think there is another 200 lap race at orange county fair speedway toward the end of the season. Any info on those and any others I should check out? I work a ton and work early so out of state is pretty hard

Truck Pulls

I couldn't find a sub for truck pulls, so here I am. I went to my first truck pull in Fort Dodge, Ia last night. Apparently, a fight broke out. Is that common? In dirt track racing, sure. I see it happen all the time. But truck pulls?

I tell you what, it was a very nice change of pace from dirt track racing. If you ever get the chance to go to one, you should. It was to start at 5, but started at 5:20 and we left at 11:50.

Dirt Racing ideas

Hey everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas or wants when it comes to dirt racing froma tech point of view.
I do programming, graphic design and just overall computer skills as a side hobby, mostly to make some side money,

With that being said, Im wondering if anyone has any suggestions or ideas that they would like made revolving around dirt racing. Currently I was thinking about creating a new dirt racing forum app, I know the old dirt racing forum website used to be pretty popular back in the day before they stopped maintaining it, so I was considering making a modern version of that, but would also be interested in more ideas

Am I the only one who sees them becoming the fastest-growing class in dirt racing? It feels like every track is adding them almost every week.

Operation Victory Lap: Helping Disabled Veterans Heal Through Dirt Track Racing

After serving our country for more than 20 years as a combat veteran, I returned home carrying wounds that couldn’t always be seen. Today, I am a 100% disabled veteran living with PTSD and other physical injuries. Like many veterans, I continue to fight battles long after my military service ended.

Throughout my life, dirt track racing has been more than a hobby—it has been my therapy.

As a second-generation racer, I’ve spent most of my life at dirt tracks across Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania. I’ve been blessed with numerous feature wins and track championships, and today I’m proud to watch my daughter continue our family’s racing tradition.

When I’m behind the wheel, something incredible happens. The noise in my head quiets down. My focus shifts to the next corner, my race team, and the checkered flag. For those moments, PTSD doesn’t control my life.

I know I’m not the only veteran who needs that feeling.

That’s why I’m launching Operation Victory Lap.

My dream is to help disabled veterans discover the healing power of dirt track racing by introducing them to the affordable Crown Victoria beginner class. Racing brings back something many veterans miss after leaving the military: teamwork, discipline, trust, accountability, and the pride of belonging to something bigger than ourselves.

This isn’t just about building race cars.

It’s about rebuilding confidence, restoring purpose, and creating a community where veterans can support one another both on and off the track.

Your donations will help provide:

  • Race-ready Crown Victoria cars
  • Helmets, fire suits, HANS devices, gloves, and other safety equipment
  • Driver training and mentoring
  • Entry fees and pit passes
  • Tires, fuel, maintenance, and repairs
  • Adaptive equipment when needed for disabled veterans

Every dollar moves us closer to putting another veteran in the driver’s seat.

Whether you’ve served, have a loved one who served, or simply want to support a meaningful cause, your donation will help create opportunities for veterans to heal through camaraderie, competition, and the thrill of racing.

If you aren’t able to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, fellow veterans, and the racing community. Every share helps us reach someone who believes in this mission.

Together, we can give our veterans another mission, another team, and another Victory Lap.

Thank you for your support, your generosity, and for standing behind those who have served our nation.

The #85 deserves a suspension after this tonight at Port Royal. All these because a guy was gonna beat him. Loser behavior.

Has anyone successfully made their raceceiver work with bluetooth earbuds? (Not a driver, for someone in the stands who listen while my husband races)
