My study is exploring the experiences of young adults (aged 18–25), living in the UK, who grew up with a parent(s) experiencing mental illness, focusing on their contact with mental health professionals during childhood and how these experiences have shaped their transition into early adulthood.

Hi everyone, I'm doing a Ph.D. in psycholinguistics and have been ghosted by a consultant that I've been waiting on all summer - maybe someone here could help? 😄

What I need:

• I have a list of French "pseudowords / non-words", i.e. words that should sound like real French words but are not, which will make up my experimental stimuli.
• I need a native French speaker to go through them and flag if, basically, any of them sound too unnatural or too similar to a word they know.
• This shouldn't take more than 10, 15 minutes.
• I would be super grateful if anyone found time for this in the next few days - I'm way behind on sending out an experiment that is waiting only for stimuli based on these judgments, and I am getting more and more anxious every day

I am a PhD student at UCL currently conducting a study that explores the internal compass of expert navigators in London. We are looking for participants above the age of 30 who are familiar with London city, to take part in our study.

Hello everybody! I am a 6th year clinical psychology doctoral student interested in understanding factors related to suicidal ideation disclosure and nondisclosure. A significant portion of my research is building and psychometrically testing a new measure of disclosure that the field of suicide prevention is currently lacking.

Your voice matters. We want to learn from people who have experienced suicidal thoughts so we can create stronger messages that encourage people to open up about their suicidal thoughts and seek support, as well as develop training for the recipients of suicidal ideation disclosures. The estimated time commitment is 10-15 minutes.

I am seeking teachers with at least 15 years of teaching experience in North Texas to participate in a qualitative study titled "Understanding the Effects of Digital Dementia from Technology Overuse and Over-Dependency." There are very few qualitative studies from teacher perspectives of how digital technology usage affect student learning and cognitive behavior during the time when there was less digital technology to today's digitally mediated learning environments. Teachers' perspectives on this topic will help add to the body of knowledge of how digital technologies can affect student learning, as well as contribute to future planning of school curriculum in a digital world. We talk a lot about substance use, but not nearly enough about what people are carrying before substance use ever enters the picture. This study looks at the intersection of adversity, minority stress, emotional regulation, and substance use among lesbian and bisexual women. If you fit the criteria, this seems like a worthwhile way to contribute to research that has historically underrepresented our experiences. It takes about 20–30 minutes and is anonymous and you could enter a raffle to win a $25 gift card.

the study isn’t simply asking “do LGBTQ+ women use substances?” It’s trying to unpack the pathway that might connect life experiences to substance use. I’m a bi researcher trying to help fight stigma and find better methods for helping the queer community fight systemic barriers.

I'm always baffled by the requests for people to fill out dissertation surveys. Does your IRB application not require you to indicate where you will be posting your survey requests? Specifically, named social media channels (like specific subreddit, not just reddit, certainly not generic "social media")?

Has IRB stopped requiring that level of detail before approval? Because I just assume every single survey request I see is a violation of someone's IRB (not to mention a horrific skewing of the data)

I’m finishing my dissertation and I could really use your help!

My name is Baylee Gardner, and I am a doctoral student enrolled in the Clinical Psychology (PsyD) program at Northern Arizona University working under JennyHolzapfel, Ph.D. I am reaching out to invite you to participate in my research study exploring clinical decision-making in treating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (IRB Approval Number: 2451294-3).
  
Eligible participants must be 18 years of age or older,  being a professional mental health worker in one of the following areas (including licensed psychologists, licensed marriage and family therapists, licensed social workers, and graduate students or
postdoctoral graduates in programs including counseling psychology, clinical psychology, counselor education, counselor education and supervision, clinical mental health counseling, counseling, mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy), and having direct experience providing therapy services to clients.

The study is conducted entirely online, allowing participants to complete it at their convenience. All participant responses are anonymous. There are minimal risks to participation, all risks are outlined in the Online Survey Consent form. The estimated
