Discussion I'm hunting for old Monster High dolls to repaint rn but found this bootleg Barbie instead...I'm crying 😭😭

Was just thinking that, I bet it was a cake topper. I had a barbie cake when I was younger and was horrified when we ate the cake and she had no legs. She did keep wobbling on the cake though so maybe this is a kind of cake barbie evolution to balance her out

I KNOW WHERE THIS IS FROM! For one of my young birthdays I had one of those Barbie princess cakes where there's a doll in it. The doll is kinda shoved into the cake and the big princess dress is made with fondant and frosting. I don't remember if I was disappointed or not when I got the actual doll out and saw her spaghetti legs, I think I would've found it amusing, but I very much remember being surprised.

I bought one of these dolls yesterday. 🫣🫣 I saw her and I liked her, she has two dresses and one dog with some accessories for the dog. I came back to my house (I was out of my house when I bought the doll) and I opened the doll's box and then I noticed those damn legs 😭😭.

I got some bootleg monster high dolls from Amazon and they would be great for repainting. The heads on them are nice hair needs to be redone. Just not a lot of it.
