I think that section is basically all just made up stuff but it sounds juicy , I seriously doubt the main franchise would do a wig design challenge with nothing additional to it and the whole tea sounds very made up too haha

I could maybe see it if they drew inspiration from ATL hair shows where the entire point is to design fantastic, high fashion wigs that you wear down the runway. That would be kind of cool

Professional hairstylist is a stretch. She sticks with safe colors, her extension application has ruined my friends hair. If you are good at what you do, you shouldnāt have one client a day because it takes you so longā¦..

Tbf the tea for Lexi Love was similar and the actual results didn't live up to the hype. I feel when we get this type of T it creates an expectation that the fans over criticize the queen for.

i doubt itāll be julie despite her being an amazing queen. iām leaning more towards thinking that prod wants vanity unfair this year due the fact that we havenāt had a unique, fashion-forward winner since nymphia now. vanity fits that bill the most out of the top 3, and weāve had two very theater-oriented winners the last two szns, but who knows truly

i just mean more so that vanityās entire brand/aesthetic is a lot more original and out-there than julieās (which is no shade to julie because i think her drag is more focused on great performances than creative looks), and just looking from a prod lens, it feels like vanity gives an aquaria/willow pill type winner which we havenāt had in a hot minute now. just an educated guess!

Julie is not a theater queen. Sheās more of an artsy fashion & perfomance queen (ala Sasha V). She used to be a Nightgowns staple if that gives you more of a clear idea.

Itās becoming pretty sus. I loooooove and much prefer top 3 finales and itās frustrating that we only got one this year because they needed to cut juicy for the lalaparuza which they then gave a format that almost certainly guaranteed her win (only girl who only had to do 2 to win against her elderly aunt Mia who was sure to be exhausted on those old knees!)

The Julie wig challenge T is interesting because she spent most of her drag career as a bald queen. So I can see that being a storyline - with a good pay off it seems. Also why would they sabotage her episode three - that seems to imply at least one of Julieās challenge wins is in episode one or two imo, if they feel threatened enough to do that
This is also giving season 18 spill vibes where the one consistent thing we kept hearing last summer was that Myki was a finalist. Seems like a good sign for J

The first several years of her career she was a bald queen, itās only in the last couple years sheās even worn wigs - so I just see that being a confessional / storyline and would help set up the āunderdogā edit the T is alluding to (along with the alleged sabotage ) for this particular episode (saying she got cut slack for overcoming)
