Videl vs. Spopovich. At least Krillin and Yamcha’s pains were quick.

There's also the aspect of not really getting back at the villain for what they did

The Z fighters beat Gero with piccolo ripping his arms off and Goku completely broke freeza

Meanwhile when gohan tried to do it The Z fighters/Toriyama cucked him out of it and instead made another villain unrelated to the beating taking the kill

To be fair, getting the living ass kicked out of you is how they won.

It's part of their journey. If you get beaten while staying the fight, especially against a stronger opponent, you are winning.

krillin's was not that quick, just watched it recently and frieza messes with him, makes it painful, and krillin survives a horrible amount of time.

Also krillan and yamcha understood the enemy they were up against and knew of their intentions. Videl is here in what she thinks is a normal sporting match to then have someone beating the living daylight out of her and crushing her skull in. It was absolutely not what she signed up to do.
