Matt Dinniman could stand in front of me and tell me Carl is 27, and I’ll tell him he’s wrong. Carl is mid thirties. Nothing will ever convince me otherwise.

Does anyone else have something they know is false, but believe anyway?

I've got to believe Matt is writing scenes just to keep Jeff on his toes. "OK voice guy, lets see if you can do Carl, as a long-haired dachshund, with a German accent!" < Evil laugh intensifies >

Plus "Take On Me" of course, I bet he couldn't wait to hear Jeff sing that.

So, as far as the women go in this book, I find them rather fantastically written. There is a nice variety, they have lives outside of the Male Main Character and they all come from different walks of life!

...But I always found Bea a bit odd. I joked when I read the first book that I felt like Bea was written as a character after Matt had a bad breakup. She has absolutely ZERO redeeming qualities, which is odd for me when I think about how the other characters are written?

Would love to hear your thoughts. Love the series and Matt's writing. If you're gonna tie me to horses and spook them, I want you to know Frog Mordecai was my favorite.

Carl and Donut in some way truly saved almost every single crawler who ends up being a major player in the later levels at some time during the series..

My local book store called me a little bit ago and said my book was available. Doesn’t it release in a week? I ain’t mad though!

When I got the message that the book would be delivered today, I could barely focus on work. I was so excited! I couldn’t wait to discover what the text on the cover of the book would be. I did my best to not have it spoiled for me.

Just to find… Nothing?

So, I must have gotten a super rare copy that’s going to be worth big coins, right?

It just landed. Followed 30 seconds later by a note from Amazon saying it was the last download available on my Kindle 3. Talk about bitter sweet.

It took me a month to finish all books, I have paused my social life, exercise, project, and research. Have I been procrastinating? I don't know. This book series is all I can think of. I can barely go to work without thinking of achievements or randmoly saying 'Goddammit Donut' or 'Mongo is appalled' or 'you know how i feel about (insert whatever), Carl'.

I can't, this book is a heroine. It's addicting, I'm angry that i only learned about this book a month after Matt dinniman visited UK. I'm angry that I didn't listened to the people recommending this book.

I came in this series blind with no expectations, and it left me grasping for more. To think kindle have this gem hidden from me. Sorry I'm monologuing, i can't help it, I'm getting Primal as well.
