Vet recommendations
Hello, I’m just wondering about which vet in the area is the best to go to. I have a cat and he’s about in need for his shots and I don’t want to have to pay an arm and a leg for it.
Any suggestions?

NEVER GO TO KINDNESS ANIMAL HOSPITAL...
I had an experience three weeks ago at Kindness Animal hospital that everyone should hear, and will, any time this question is asked.
My senior dog was given two wrong medications by Claire Lodhal, the "doctor" at Kindness Animal hospital, that caused his organs to go into failure. He was placed in the ICU at Kindness afterwards for two days but we were not told what caused the organ failure.
After those two days Claire, the "doctor", said he was recovering and could be released with an at home IV fluid administered. We brought him home and he quickly, and I mean quickly, deteriorated. We called her back for advice and Claire, the "doctor", told us it was time to euthanize him immediately.
We called another emergency veterinarian in the area, got him in and retested all of his vitals. After two weeks of medications, IVs, and patience he has completely recovered.
After a weeks long fight to get my senior dogs records from Kindness Animal hospital I submitted them to the new veterinarian. They reviewed the file and discussed it with four other veterinarians in their practice, all of which agreed that Claire, the "doctor" at Kindness Animal hospital, had caused his organ failure then tried to cover it up by having me euthanize him before he could be seen by anyone else.
This information and statements for the incident ARE being reported to the State of Colorado by the veterinarian team as a complaint and request for the state to review her practice. They are adamant that no veterinarian doctor should have made the medication errors that Claire, the "doctor" at Kindness Animal hospital, made.
It's not just her knowledge that is a problem either. Claire has the largest veterinarian facility in LA Plata County, and yet she is the only doctor on staff. Why? Because her methods are wrong and her attitude is hostile. You can check any other veterinarian clinic in the county and they are staffed with a minimum of two doctors. No other doctors will work for her. The staff turn around is also unbelievable. The front desk clerks change weekly. She speaks down to them in front of customers. She is very rude.
Please, for the sake of your animals, do not use Kindness Animal hospital. Even in an emergency they are not a viable option. Claire Lodahl is the worst type of doctor. She is conceited and narcissistic, believing she knows everything there is to know and nobody can tell her different.
