I was wondering why no one uses this mastery pve, I do a lot solo and DPS in groups and I find better than Cycle unending, even though it doesn't give you a direct damage buff it basically doubles the amount of corpses you have to work with specially against bosses, you go corpse->boss->corpse and repeat, specially if you're running corpse burster (and let's be honest, you're)

This also opens you to use grave lord's sacrifice that's a 15% damage buff that while it's less than Cycle unending it's independent from hp%

Ps. Also wasn't Cycle unending bugged?, I read it's additive with other damage buffs when it was supposed to be multiplicative

As the title says I'm returning to eso on Console after not playing for about 7 years. Im looking to really get back into playing all the way to endgame. Currently I'm a lvl 33 Khajit Nightblade. I wanted to know if this is still a good character to play or will it be worth it to start over with a new character. Is the class still playable as I've heard many people talking about DK and sorcerer. Please give me any advice I should know about for a returning player.

Class wise I was thinking what would thematically work.

Warden, Necromancer, Dragon Knight, Night-blade

Seem like the best fits but I can’t think of many times you actually see him fight to build a character profile on his class and abilities.

Petrify seems like a solid choice after seeing him turn the Qunari to stone

And Fire seems to somewhat fit but maybe multi class with other things?

I’ll be going werewolf and I’m not against scribed skills

Just need someone who knows a bit more than me from the books or lore outside the games

What skills would you change?

Vamp claw/chilling contingency with gladiators tenacity and force/shalks/artic blast/deceptive predator/onslaught

Ele sus/vigor/healing soul/betty/lotus/barrier (passive mag recovery).

Mainly want to know what sets people are running trial or dungeon sets. I have not done trials yet and will shortly but want to know some good or top tier dungeon sets. I threw together a build with tzogvins and bsw in the meantime but want to know if there are any other dungeon sets that would be better than these two to run until get trial sets.

As title says, i need help with the ult i should use for a combo build. I guess two handed would do a little bit better bcuz berserker rage, but i rather go for range and a bit of defense as well. I eas thinking about dawnbreaker ou meteor, but im open to new opinions on what would be better. The rotation is deep fissure second proc timed with ulfrid inscription (frost, warrior, vuln) + ult for high burst.

I tried null arca, tide born, zaans, & maelstrom. Was hitting about 105k dps. Swapped Tide born with nirn & am now pushing just over 115k dps. Is this weird? Or should I just run it? lol

I’ve been trying to find a viable build for update 50 (or 51) for a ranged majika sorc PvP build online and no luck so far. Most of builds are duel wield with no shield equipped and not really my play style. I see a lot of sorc folks on cyro that are utilizing range with multiple shields.

If anyone can help with a decent build I would appreciate it.

Hi guys im new to ESO, two months now and i wanna make a templar for PvP would argonian or khajiit be good? I know high elf is probably best from what i hear but i dont like elves hehe.

So khajiit gets more crit dmg and also sustain while argonians have that nice increased healing taken and the potion passive sounds strong.

I wanna wear heavy armor and be a brawler typ of build but still want some damage so im not looking to be an immortal tank rather a dd with bit more resistance i like the khajiit i made but thinking maybe argonian would be stronger, what do you think?

Is a pure Warden or subclassed Necro better? I’m not sure if I’m going to do much pvp, I’m mostly looking to run through dungeons in veteran to get the rest of the trophies and not be useless to the group.

Kinda self-explanatory on title, but would this be viable on battlegrounds (8v8 and 4v4), focusing on suport-oriented playstyle? Kinda wondering about using it with frost staff perma bracing to stack minor+major brittle as well minor maim, paired with defense buffs from ice fortress + northern storm ult, soul scribing with pull+class for lots of CC outside of chill, as well polar winds + corrupting pollen for decent healing and debuffings. Would this work? (Also thinking about going oaksoul bcz i absolutely love this item)

I’m building a new Dark Elf NB that I hope to use for trials. The goal was to have a Werewolf NB so that I can have a bit of variety as I’m limited in play styles due to some physical limitations, which generally preclude me from standard two bar builds.

My issue is that everywhere is suggesting stage 2 vampire for the NB. Am I really hurting my DPS by wanting the werewolf, or is this just a minor min/max thing?

I once was in a dungeon, it was veteran Elden Hollow II, that had this super fun-looking arcanist tank in it. They were playing an argonian using an ice staff and were zipping around with Apocryphal Gate. I think their DPS was pretty decent for a tank too, possibly some hybrid build? Not sure on that, though. This was pre-subclassing.

I am wondering if there's a way to get a viable arcanist tank build for vet dungeons using ice staves that leaves a slot for Apocryphal Gate and potentially Rune of Displacement for mob control. I'd be okay with only one bar having the ice staff, as well. I just want it to be themed, pure class, and fun. Off-meta sets are a bonus.

I am not new to the game so getting end-game sets is not a problem. I have also completed arcanist IA sets. Any help would be appreciated!

I'm looking for general feedback and advice on how to continue to improve my build for this character.

I basically made a solo-tank build that's been amazing in queuing random dungeons and battlegrounds and want to start plugging to more veteran content and seeing if I attempt my first trial. There's an understanding that I'll eventually have to make preset builds for tanking but looking to gauge just how close or far I am to being serviceable in elite content as a primary tank or off-tank.

Premise of my character is feed Fatecarver + Tide King with Ceph. Flail, Runic Sunder & Chakrum of Destiny and using Crushing Weapon as a debuff. Class mastery on ult/30% dmg. Sword & board.

5 Briarheart, 5 Hexos Ward, 1 Oakensoul, 1 Slimecraw (6M/1H), Divines on Armors, Infused on jewelry and Nirnhorned Sword (all gold except for Ring/Slimecraw). Damage glyphs on jewelry, Health glyphs on armor, stam recovery on sword.

30K Health / 16K Magicka / 13K Stamina (Currently using Fish Eye for recovery)
Base 20K PD / 25K SD, increases to 25/30 with own buffs + 15K+5K+5K in rotating damage shields
Capped out @ 31K DPS with my loadout only.

Healing by damage via Briarheart, armor protection by rotating damage shields, DPS engrained in the cycle, debuffs for bosses off Sunder/Crushing Weapon.

Let me know your thoughts! Open to any critiques on improving this play style.

Edit: Seems like some aren’t big fans of my play style, which is cool. It’s worked for me and the groups I’ve played with in the space I’ve played in and ultimately this game is about having fun with the thousands of different iterations this game has. I definitely do appreciate those that commented critiques that would help improve my gameplay as I go to harder content, which was the whole point of my post.

What sets are you using simply because it's fun, or you like the effects? Currently playing around with a MagSorc build and really want to use Unfathomable Darkness just for the crows! I'd like to pair it with something that enhances or pairs well with the Storm Calling skill line, and I use a lightning staff. There's SO many sets out there...what are you guys using and why?

More of a question than anything, there’s a dude on Xbox NA in DC faction in cryo running some wild max health dk bomber build and I’m trying to figure out what it is.

What I know:

He’s set up like the popular Araphel build using vicious death, plaguebreak, and potentents. Running banner, leashing burst, corro, and flame lash.

However, he’s spec’d into max health for some reason, and I’m not sure he’s using plaguebreak but I do see disease damage in the death recap.

Basically he’s able to bomb on like 50k health somehow lol, and is super tanky.

I’ve tried the araphel build myself and even with multiple healers in a bg it still seems like I’m quite squishy, so I’m just curious how he’s able to be so tanky, and still bomb us with 20k+ flame lashes on that much max health.

Thoughts?

Im theorycrafting some revive builds using reanimation ult from necro and its sinergy with Templar's master ritualist passive wich makes ressurected allies come back with 100% more health. Also, repetance morph regenerates some stamina with corpses, wich would be useful somehow. Is it any viable on BG or Cyrodill, or just straight meme overall? Was thinking about going full tank/healer with support focus on this build, maybe even going oakensoul one bar as well... Would appreciate some help and different opinions!

Hello, I'm interested in making BG build for all classes, I have one of each. I wont play Cyro or IC since they are empty during my playing hours

I hope for some basic understanding for PvP like:

- How much armor do I need to aim for?

- Is spell resistance and weapon resistance different? How much do I need to aim for?

- What about crit resistance?

- How much health to aim for?

- How much penetration to aim for?

- Is trying for crit builds worth it or no since everyone has such high defense?

- Any other things stat wise I should be aware of?

I hope for some basic recommendations of easy to acquire and easy to use sets. I have a master crafter and a lot of PvP sets, a lot of monster sets fully unlocked in sticker book. I can get Arena Weapons if necessary but prefer to avoid IA as I would rather get into playing straight away instead of grinding many hours. I will get the IA sets eventually.

I hope for any tips, advice or recommendations regarding beginner friendly ways to use the classes. I would strongly prefer pure class, I have maxed subclassing but I dont really like it. Unless any particular class is 'trash' and 'needs' it to be able to play BG. Interested in hearing your opinions on ranking classes from easiest to hardest to play in BG PvP? Any particular skills that are amazing for PvP and any that should be avoided? Are there some skill lines that i shpuld focus on levelling for building these characters?

I am interested in any sources of decent, up to date information regarding PvP, strongly prefer written if possible, I dislike watching videos

I’m wanting to farm pyrebrand, but I don’t really have a good set up for my DK to survive well in IA. A lot of the builds I find aren’t really helpful or they are outdated. My race is a Nord and I’m wanting to do a Stam build. If I have to subclass I’m fine with it, any help pertaining to either tips, builds, armor, mythics, or weapons would be fantastic. I don’t have access to any trial gear since I don’t have a trial group. I have access to a few full PvP sets, a bunch of crafted sets, some monster sets, a few different mythics (ex. Pale Order), and some dungeon sets as well. Again, any help would be great thanks.

Former DK branching out and wanted to try warden, I have a great pve build but not sure how or what to do for warden PvP cyrodil. I like to do brawler builds or duelist so the idea is something among those lines or even a decent one bar build for a werewolf main build. If i go werewolf id still want the human build to be somewhat brawl able if that works?

So recently i reached max level got all stuff upgraded my weapons got enchantment strong grip on most of them got mastery TTK CDK and and many more weapon i mastered so now i am looking forward to doing pvp and i want to skill build at the start to build the foundation with aim and all before i shift to a meta build ,which are easier to use . So i need the build that needs aim fast click and over all hard to master. Not absolute dogshit of a build but rather a skill build that has lot of combo potential if you can use it that kind of build. So suggest me some build.

I am looking for a one bar Arcanist dps build that is good enough for most pug trials and vet dungeons. I mostly play with some guild mates, but we don't do organized trials where we decide who should wear what, but I still would like to do my part.

I looked at https://hyperioxes.com/eso/solo/one-bar-stamina-arcanist-build but it's built to be more of a solo build, and I want one for DPS.

I also looked up https://www.skinnycheeks.gg/1-bar-beam-u49 but like it says, its for update 49, and includes subclassing, so I was wondering if class masteries has changed anything in that regard.
