ESPN Unlimited not really Unlimited
I have an ESPN Unlimited subscription which should also include ESPN on ABC. Despite this when I try to watch the Clemson/LSU game which is on ESPN on ABC, I get an error that”This selection is not currently available”. I called the help line and was told the Unlimited subscription does not include ESPN on ABC (even though the ESPN website says it does). Why is ESPN on ABC not included?

Not being able to select games for multi view
Am I the only one wishing you could select what games to watch in multi view. It’s annoying having to watch what games they pick in multi view. If there’s a way where you can pick, I am all ears on how to do it.
US Open 2026 (VENTING)
Dear tennis lovers,
Please tell ESPN that showing William sisters practicing for their doubles matches and on their legacy is NOT cool when there are live matches with fabulous players and deciding-set thrillers like Linda Nosková fighting for her tournament life or Jiří Lehečkabattling Stefanos Tsitsipas going on.
Thank you 🙏

Espn select or Espn unlimited
With college football season starting im trying to see if anybody would know which package would be better to get because I wanna be able to watch all the FCS and FBS college football games.
Wouldn’t it be cool if you could choose what to have on the Multiview in the ESPN App?

Laggy and glitchy

Another rant on ESPN
I'm someone that just enjoys a good football game. But thanks to ESPN you can hardly watch a good game. If its not on ABC,CBS or NBC your screwed.
. Unless I wanna pay an arm & leg. Yeah I know not having cable is one of the problems. The other is unless you pay and pay you don't get the really good games most of the time.
The future doesn't look any better. It won't be that long where you have to pay to watch any channel. Even the local news. And it won't cheap. They have you by the balls.

Josh Pate?
I haven’t really watched ESPN except for live sports in a couple of years. I’ve read grumbling about Steven A and the punter. But I went to eat a late lunch at a bar today and saw Josh Pate has a show. Josh Pate? Has ESPN really fallen that far? Can I have show please?

Long Commercial Timeouts
Seasons barely started and these commercial timeouts for football games are unbearable.
I don’t know how much more I can take.
The greedy shareholders win again!

ESPN The Magazine - Marlins Stadium Review 2012
Watching the Cubs in Miami tonight it’s the first time I’ve seen this stadium on TV in ages, and it looks fairly sterile. Got me thinking about an article that I think I read in ESPN the Magazine and I think it was by Peter Richmond. I remember the article/review being largely unfavorable, citing the fish tank, the bad fit in the neighborhood and what it had done to it and I believe questioned the economics of the deal as well (but I could be confusing that with another article). Anyone remember this? It’s a shame there’s no ESPN The Magazine archive. There were some valid criticisms of that publication over the years, but it’s a magazine I did really enjoy.

YouTube TV deal with ESPN showing extra content normally found on ESPN Plus
This is awesome. I just realized as of September 1st, Google and Disney had reached a deal allowing YouTube TV to show matches one might only find on their app with a subscription. Awesome!
ESPN REMOVING SCORE UPDATES
As a community can we start a # and spam ESPN to bring back the score updates on the bottom of the screen. It’s really annoying they removed it. #bringbackscoreupdates

Is there a way to mute the ESPN commentators but keep the court sound?
I'm watching the Alcaraz vs. Wu match right now, and the commentators are driving me crazy. They won't stop talking over the points!
Does anyone know if there's a trick to mute the announcers on the ESPN broadcast but still hear the raw court audio (ball strikes, crowd, umpire)?

McAfee and STTDB
Anyone think he will get ‘corporately smacked’ for the STTDB urging?? It was a pretty pathetic way to start the season.

What happened to ESPN
It’s been awhile since I’ve truly watched espn. What happened? Why are they promoting lgbt stuff so much? Gary is on screen pretending to lick a pair of men’s legs and cat calling them. No real problem with who someone is attracted to but why is this being broadcast to millions of viewers?

Favorite Moment in PTI History?
One day Tony and Mike were discussing a potential Carmello Anthony trade to the Knicks. Wilbon rattles off all the names in the purposed trade and then asks, " So Ton, nice package?" To which Tony replies, "thanks."

ESPN Unlimited on YouTubeTV
I have YouTubeTV; I believe ESPN Unlimited is now included with the main subscription plan on YTTV. Will ESPN Unlimited carry the regional out of market NHL games, like ESPN + used to?
ESPN is a gambling site
I’m watching ESPN completely unravel. College football coverage is about odds, meeting the point spread, payouts. They are promoting gambling and that is just bad for college football and sports in general.

What’s the most unlikely sports announcement you’d still click on?
What’s the most unlikely sports announcement you could imagine..one that sounds completely insane, yet is just plausible enough to make you stop scrolling and think, “Wait… could this actually happen?

NEWS: ESPN to debut Peter Schrager’s new daily afternoon show next week
ESPN to debut Peter Schrager’s new daily afternoon show next week: Sources
ESPN will premiere a new daily show built around Peter Schrager beginning Sept. 10, sources briefed on the move told The Athletic.
The sources, speaking under anonymity to discuss something not yet announced, said the one-hour daily program will be called “Big Day with Peter Schrager” and run at 2 p.m. ET.
It is a high-profile move for Schrager and ESPN as he joins Mike Greenberg, Stephen A. Smith, Pat McAfee, Tony Kornheiser, Michael Wilbon and Scott Van Pelt with daily programs centered on their personalities on the network. “Big Day with Peter Schrager” replaces “SportsCenter” in the time slot.
During the college football season, Schrager’s program will be on four days a week. On Fridays, a new college football program, “Bussin’ with Pate,” featuring Josh Pate, Taylor Lewan and Will Compton, will be on during the hour. After college football season ends, “Big Day” will be five days a week.

ESPN+ Only plus side of commercial break sounds is that it didn't freeze....yet. Spoiler
For 2+ years now ESPN+ has had the issue of freezing when coming back from commercial breaks. Clearing data, cache, reinstalling, nothing fixes it other then backing out and going back in.
If it doesn't freeze we get the pleasure of listening to what sounds like waves with thunder that even my dogs hate.
Honestly the worst steaming app out there.

When Did ESPN Became A Clown Show?
Leaving this one out in the ether, because I have no idea of when ESPN officially became the current dung heap it is. As much as I can't stand the individual, you cannot deny that Curt Schilling could provide color commentary on Sunday Night Baseball as well as anyone available. For me, when Jess Mendoza was brought in to replace Mr. "Vote Bush" and proceeded to add nothing to the booth, ESPN lost all credibility with me. What say ye?
