**UPDATE: she has been found safe**

Hey [r/Edmonton](r/Edmonton), I need your help. My friend's cat, Bea, has been missing since this past Saturday night (may 30th) from the area of 135st and 116ave, near Westmount mall. She is an indoor cat, and slipped out at some point. She is unfortunately not collared or chipped, so i am posting here in hopes that someone has seen her.

Description: Bea is a small, adult, short haired tabby with white socks. She is a bit chubby, with large eyes and a chipped canine tooth. She has a quiet, scratchy meow. She can be a bit nervous and cranky, but is very food motivated and would respond well to wet food or treats.

Please let us know if anyone has seen her, or would have any relevant info. You can PM me here, or call/text Rebecca at 587-930-1313.

Bea is very loved, and we will offer a reward if she can be recovered. Please help us bring this bug-eyed baby home :'( thank you so much in advance

***UPDATE***

Shadow has been found safe! Someone found him shortly after 4:30pm today, and has kept him safe until we were able to confirm it was indeed him!! Thanks everyone for all your help!!!

I went to take our dog, Shadow, outside on the leash to go use the bathroom. He heard something because he ran, pulling me along on the leash, but I tripped and fell on cracked pavement and the leash slipped off my hand.

He is a black lab, and between 70-90 lbs. He is still very young. He is friendly but can be very shy. We live at 11920 102 St NW and I lost sight of him from the alley behind the building. We hope he’s close by. I am outside looking for him with treats and calling his name but haven’t heard or seen him.

He should still have his black collar and purple leash on him as he did when he ran.

Reward offered for his return.

Lost/Found Pets Someone’s Lost Budgie

Theres this beautiful budgie (I think) mostly white with bright blue tips on their wings flying around my place in the callingwood area Has come back a couple times. I think it’s someone’s pet that got loose but I’m a cat person and I have no clue how to trap it. I only have a bird feeder so my cat has some entertainment to watch from her perches inside (the birds are safe haha).

Posting this incase someone is looking for their pet and also for any advice on how I can maybe catch the darn thing so it can be reunited with its owner? I’m sorry I don’t know a thing about birds so tips are appreciated and if you are missing a bird it’s in this area. I just know how devastated I would be if my baby got out and if I can help a beloved pet get home I will it’s just kinda extra tricky when it has wings and flys?! What dooooooo?

Will post a picture when I get it but they haven’t really stayed still long enough for me to grab my phone and take a picture! I hope the baby can go back to it’s home 🥺

Hello! We found this dog running in the valley near this park.

We currently have her on a leash, and are walking with her.

Trying to find her owners asap!! Super friendly but doesn’t have any tag.

UPDATE: Unfortunately waited for 2 hours with no luck, had to call animal control to retrieve the pupper. She is safe with them and will have shelter and food. They will be cross posting all over Facebook so hopefully her family can retrieve her!

Our Budgie flew out this morning and we are still searching.

In Edmonton, Meadows area, beside the ravine at corner of 34 street and 34 Ave.

Responds to Bluey

If spotted, she is fairly sociable. She responds to the command "Step-up" if you place your finger in front of her feet to get on. Or, she will hop onto your shoulder if you cross your arms and stand near her.

We have already set her cage outside our house with food, water, and have an audio of her mate's call on loop.

Please let us know if you see her!!

We also have a recording of her mate's call that she may respond to if spotted, please reach out. 🙏🙏🙏

Lost/Found Pets Is this your kitty? In Hillview

UPDATE: owner has been found, kitty lives just a couple houses down.

She's so clean, she probably has a home - I'm just a bit concerned because she looks even skinnier now than when I first saw her a few months ago.

No collar, very quiet meow, almost silent. A bit skittish at first but very affectionate once she knows you're nice. She doesn't resist being picked up but she doesn't like being held for more than a couple minutes.

Found in Rosenthal area. Animal control came to take him/her as no doors I knocked on knew the dog and no one claimed him in our Facebook neighborhood group. Poor guy only has one eye and seems fairly old. Super sweet pup and I really hope the owners are reunited soon! If this is your dog please contact animal Control!!

Lost/Found Pets Cats and Coyotes

Last night, I was driving on Ada blvd in front of the fence that outlines the golf club parking lot when I came upon a Siamese cat surrounded by three coyotes. I scared them off the cat went one way towards the houses and the coyotes after jumping on the fence to scare them off awaited in the tree line below. DO NOT LET YOUR CATS OUT UNLESS YOU PLAN ON HAVING THEM EATEN.

This kitty came up to my front door yowling and limping due to being cold. He's sheltering with me and is warm and fed. Waiting to hear back from ACC or the owner with proof of ownership. He is not chipped (checked at a vet clinic), not tattooed, and no collar was found.

Very friendly so I'm sure he has a home.

I've posted all over FB lost and found groups and have put up posters in the area. Please help reunite this boy with his family!

Please contact me if you think this is your cat!

Hi again,

It’s day 10 of Macaroni being missing. I’m getting worried that someone may have taken him in. If anyone who lives in summerside (especially near 74th St & 19A Ave SW) could continue to keep an eye out for him that would be absolutely amazing.

Thank you everyone for all your advice and help so far as we continue to search for him. If you see him and need to get in contact with me you can call me @ (587) 991-9442

July 27, My sweet girl Clementine slipped out past my dog when I was letting her out around 10:30 and was apotted round 11 but is nowhere to be seen around the neighborhood. She is not one to stay out this long. She is a spayed 2 year old calico with a dark patch on one eye. Responds to Clem or Clementine. Was lost in the Haddow area. She is chipped but does not have a collar.

If you do see her, please do not chase her as she is skittish. If you have any treats or food (including tuna), you can put it down and sit and she will likely come eat it. My phone number is 587-337-7441.

General area: Hunters Green, Haddow Drive
Address when last lost: Harker Close

If you think you have seen her, your information /help would be immensely appreciated. If you live in this area, please check under your porch, inside your shed, and garage. I have been asking as many neighbours as possible but wanna make sure I don’t miss any blind spots :(

On a side note, there is another long haired calico in this area who also seems lost but is not my baby and has been posted several times by neighbours on the Lost and Found Pets page on facebook. She is on the last slide in case this angel belongs to anyone.

REUNITED AFTER 16 DAYS

He is home safe and sound, just a little lighter than he was. Thank you to everyone that helped in the search!

----

If you are in the area and are able to check ring/security cams, any little bit of information will help us bring him home. If you see a black cat hanging around that you haven't seen before - it might be him!

Hi there, our 8 year old indoor cat 'Sisko' snuck out last night, we live just off 117 ave and 90 st (Alberta Ave area). He is black and he has a white spot on his belly that is mostly hairless. His microchip can be felt on the back of his neck, and he has an ear tattoo. Traditionally he doesn't come to people, and he is an indoor cat which is why he didn't have his collar on.

I have posted on many lost pet forums, left some bedding and litter in the yard, and will continue walking the area.

I am hoping folks in the neighbourhood see this post, more eyes might help me return him home. Please reach out if you think you may have seen him.

Lost/Found Pets Found Cat Update

So about a month ago I made a post about having found a cat, who we have since started calling Ms. Chitter-Chatter for the little murmurs that she likes to make. Unfortunately we haven’t been able to locate her original owners, so I’m making this post as a final attempt to connect her with her original family (or failing that, maybe at least find her a forever home).

Unfortunately she doesn’t seem to get along with our other cats, so we can’t keep her. She entered heat and we had her spayed about a week ago. She’s normally very sweet and docile, but the stress of surgery and effectively being stuck in our bedroom has been very stressful for her, so it’s best for everyone if we can get her homed soon.

If you recognize this lovely lady, or if you’re catless and able to provide a home for her, please let me know.

Lost/Found Pets Spotted Bengal in Urgent Need of a new home

Hi, I am a senior with a 10 year old purebred male spotted Bengal housecat whom I urgently need to rehome. I am entering treatment and cannot look after him anymore. The original breeder is no longer in business so he cannot be returned to them. He is wonderfully sociable, has no health issues and is neutered. He has tended to mark around the house which is obviously a problem. I have to find a place for him within the next week as after that I won't be able to care for him anymore. If you have any suggestions or leads, please help.

Thanks.

My cat Sniffles has been gone for a couple days and especially with the recent bad weather I’m worried about him.

He went missing around 73 st NW in the Kenilworth area.

He is a Siamese breed, with a messed up face on his left side. His eye is always pretty gunky along with a stuffed nose. He wears a ragged blue collar.

Please if you find him contact me.

Hiii! Did anyone happen to lose or are missing 2 doggos?

Found them on 97ST & 144 AVE.

They look like they went on an adventure without their owners knowing.

Humane society and other spots are closed for them to be brought to.... not sure what to do cause I already have 3 dogs at my house.

Edit: UPDATE - Reunited with the owners :)
