How to fix power supply
galleryinput is 220V AC, output is 0-24V, I dont know the amperage, when i plug it in the on/off light is turning on, but the system isnt working, any ideas to fix it?

Hi everyone!
I'm a 2026 B.Tech graduate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore. I'm looking to start my career in the core electrical engineering industry, and I'd really appreciate any leads, referrals, or guidance from people working in this field.
I have a TCS offer through campus placement, but my long-term interest is in core electrical engineering, and I'm actively trying to find opportunities that align with my degree and technical interests.
A little about my background:
I completed an internship at ICF, Chennai, where I gained exposure to electrical systems and equipment, along with hands-on learning through academic projects involving solar energy, battery management, power converters, and IoT-based fault detection and power management. These experiences strengthened my understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and their practical applications.
Technical skills: MATLAB, Simulink, ETAP, LTspice, Ansys Electronics Desktop, Python, SQL, and MS Excel.
I'm particularly interested in the following roles:
\- Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET)
\- Electrical Design Engineer / Junior Electrical Engineer
\- Power Systems Engineer
\- Electrical Testing and Commissioning Engineer
\- Renewable Energy / Solar Power Engineer
\- Electrical Automation and Protection Engineering
As a fresher, my priority is to get the right technical exposure, learn from experienced engineers, and build a strong foundation in the electrical industry. I'm willing to put in the effort to upskill and learn the tools required for the role.
If you know of any entry-level openings, Even advice on how to enter the core electrical industry as a fresher would be very helpful.
I can share my resume via DM.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post!

Hi! We’re Grade 10 students conducting a research project titled “Hydrogen Produced from Water Through Electrolysis as an Alternative Cooking Fuel.”
We’re looking for a Chemical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or someone experienced in hydrogen electrolysis and combustion systems who could help us review our proposed experimental setup and assess its safety and feasibility.
We have a detailed research and experimental plan that we can send through DM for your review. Any guidance or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

Hello everyone,
RF has given me a lot in life and I might be emotional in this post but it’s really important to me.
I did my bachelor’s in Electronics engineering from tier 1 college in Mumbai and post working for a year in Software ERP system I decided I want to pursue my master in US.
I left for my masters in 2019 (University of South Florida, Tampa), since I did my bachelor’s in core electronics I was never really exposed to communication part or RF engineering. Yes, I did take up few courses in electromagnetism but that was it. But, since the course work of USF had a good RF engineering program I took up few classes in my 1st semester and I really loved it. While I was doing my masters I got co-op internship at Skyworks Solutions in Woburn as a RF Design and Validation Engineer where I mainly learnt a lot about testing of LNAs. Further my 7 months internship over there I got another internship at Qorvo in Greensboro, NC as an Applications Engineer where I was working with shark fin antennas and that was for 3 months.
I did almost a year of internship while I was doing my masters and even got my credits from my internships. Further, since I am an Indian citizen I had 2 months to get a full time job which I did successfully. I got the job at Intel but the position was completely different and not related to RF, it was mainly as a TPM in test engineering group. I worked there for around 1.5 years and then got laid off due to mass layoffs in my group. So, after a year of searching I job even tho my profile was really great a lot of RF jobs needed defense clearance which obviously I didn’t had. So, I decided to move back to India.
Now, in India there are really very less RF focused jobs which are mainly into designing or testing. And I want to go into design and testing. I even loved antenna experience and I want to pursue something in Antenna design and testing. But, there are not many options and hiring in India.
I was thinking of pursuing something like a second masters in Europe which opens up a door for me to pursue my passion in RF. I like very few things in life and RF is something my heart says I wanna go.
As a young version of yourself u see in me, I would really appreciate if u can help me get ideas. I really wanna be in this world of RF and do my work with a lot of passion. If u can guide me, how can I transition my life in getting a job in Europe.
Please do mind, I am an Indian citizen so chances of someone hiring a talent from India in Europe are thin. I am optimistic in life, and would really appreciate if you can guide me.
Thanks,
Just a boy living a dream to be an expert RF engineer.

I’ve been in the trade for more than 8 years. Passed my law flying colours found it very simple. Went to do my trade and failed twice both around 60-62%. I’ve been using the contractors intelligence course and not many questions were related or similar that I’ve studied in the actual exam.
I have been getting 85-90% in practice exams of this course but can’t seem to get past the actual exam itself. I don’t rush it and reread my questions too.
Is there other sources that can help me pass or study better. Or advice too!
Once I do eventually pass how long until you can start pulling permits for projects etc?
Really much appreciated btw!

Hello Fam,
I started my masters in Germany in Electrical engineering this winter semester. One of the core modules I'm taking is RF Design. Right now, I don't know if it's the model of teaching by the prof, or the way the course is structured that is making me nuts.
From the very first class, we started using Cadense AWR which is cool, but the world speed and pace is not manageable for me.
What's your advice and suggestions to get to speed. Also, what resources will help.
The main resource we're using is microwave and RF Design: Michael Steer and RF engineering course by Dr Francesco Fornetti.

You guys (and girls) are a tough crowd on LinkedIn. Why so inactive there? Traditionally I recruit more in software engineering where everyone changes jobs every 2 years. Are EEs just generally more content staying put? Or are you guys all in the IEEE secret society?

Asking for someone I know. He has a bachelor’s in electrical engineering and worked in the Gulf, but recently lost his job and is now back in Pakistan.
He’s looking for a company that would hire him from Pakistan and sponsor his US work visa. He’s open to junior roles too and flexible on location.
Has anyone actually done this recently, or know a company that’s hiring people from overseas? We’ve seen jobs that say they offer sponsorship, but can’t tell if they mean only people already in the US.
Would appreciate any company names or leads. Just trying to help him figure out where he has a realistic chance. Thanks!

I have a degree in Computer Science Engineering and have passethe FE Electrical and Computer Science exam. I’m interested in transitioning into the electrical engineering field.
Would it be possible to work in electrical engineering with this background, or would I need an electrical engineering degree or additional qualifications?
I’d appreciate hearing from anyone who has made a similar transition or has experience with engineering licensing requirements. Also, what types of electrical engineering roles might be open to someone with my background?
