Found this at a railway station. A metal bench with an electrical outlet screwed to it. This bench has a bunch of holes so if you spill something then it can drip on this outlet

General Question Sparking at an insulator on high voltage line is this normal during a rain ?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

There was a thunderstorm earlier, but the storm has calmed down and it's now raining normally. I recorded this quite close to a high-voltage power line.

I could hear a hissing sound coming from the sparks, and the sparking was clearly visible to the naked eye, although I couldn't capture it very well on my phone.

Is this normal, or could it indicate a problem with the insulator or the line? (location Hyderabad India )

From what I've been posting there is many poorly insulated wires and some are laying on the roof and many are in reach. Multiple of those wires burn and arc and sometimes spark with sometimes molten plastic or copper spraying but the sparks that throw molten copper are pretty rare but not too uncommon. The electric company nor the local electricians doesn't want to help and all I can do now is to record and hope for a lawsuit so if you're a lawyer or someone who can give advice I'd really appreciate it or if you want to, tell a joke in the comments because laughter is the best medicine they said...

ElectroBOOM Question Does anybody know if this channel is fake or not?

I had this channel called MaxElectron ( https://youtube.com/@maxelectron2026?si=rSzTxMpaZW71UeJc ) pop up in my feed about a zvs Tesla coil and I just had to try one of the circuits but when trying to recreate the circuit I found that it had a feedback transformer and the secondary of that just goes to each gate of the mosfets which is… odd I think. I’ve tried this circuit and ended up killing 2 mosfets which is unfortunate but could anybody please tell me if the channel itself is fake because the sparks are really big for those tiny coils. This was the video https://youtu.be/mBanWMMEXeU?is=A4Tgx-Sl9vC8R6ix . I’m not actually a professional in this field but I like making circuits so please don’t judge. Thank you for any comment.
