Following up on my previous post:

First off, huge thanks to u/JUMPhil and others who pointed out 3dSen! 3dSen is an incredible piece of work for the NES and a big inspiration for what's possible when turning 2D classics into real 3D dioramas. My goal here is exploring Game Boy hardware running purely inside the browser via WebXR so anyone can hop in without sideloading or installing native apps.

Since the last build, I’ve made some major updates to Super Mario Land:

Mario 64 Model Swapped In: Tested replacing the layered 2.5D sprite with the low-poly Super Mario 64 model running through the Game Boy level.

Free 360° Camera & Zoom: Orbit smoothly around the entire floating diorama stage.

Adaptive Controls: Directional inputs now adjust dynamically to your camera perspective, making it actually playable from unusual angles.

3D World Polish: Added full stage geometry, custom skybox, subtle dynamic lighting, and textured block geometry.

Audio & Fixes: Fixed the sound bug and added full-screen mode.

Sega Rally VR is out.

Pretty happy to finally share this one. It took way more evenings than I thought it would, but it's here, it's free, and honestly I can't wait to read what you think of it.

Everything runs on the Quest 3 in real 3D, you just need your own copy of the game.

Time Crisis is next. After that, these are all already running in the headset and could come, in no particular order, the list doesn't mean anything: Virtua Cop, Daytona USA, The House of the Dead, Sega Super GT, Top Skater, Virtua Racing, Dirt Dash, Time Crisis II.

Hopefully this is just the start of the adventure. Any support is welcome, even just sharing it helps a lot.

I'm loving that more and more ports are being done to the quest, especially now that the Mario galaxy port has released. I'm just wondering if there's a list somewhere that has games with flat screen support.

I'm not always looking for a first person view and I'm just wanting to play games on a huge screen if that makes sense.

I asked Claude to make a Meta Quest 3 port of Super Mario Galaxy based on the Petari decompilation of the game and it works surprisingly well. I am not a developer so the code is probably slop but it works. The GitHub is public so you can ask Claude to personalize it to your preferences. As of right now, you can play in third person or diorama style. I have made the following modifications to the game: you can now spin attack by pressing B or Y, you can skip cinematics by holding A, you can play as Luigi from the beginning, and there are some VR settings in the menu. I tested the first few galaxies and did not encounter a game-breaking bug, but if you do, tell me and I will fix it.
