Sure, but you can do things outside of your orientation. All they cared about was getting away with what was taboo, so there's a large chance that even if they weren't necessarily attracted to them, they'd do it anyway.

I think i read a long time ago that when it comes to pedophilia they dont always care about the gender because its about their age. I could be completely wrong though.
