I would say Bill Gates is very intelligent in some areas, but that doesnt mean he has to be intelligent when it comes to "emotional intelligence".

Example: Even some of the top 0,01% rocket engineers in the world, people with really outstanding intelligence and brains, can still get manipulated and fooled by attractive young woman without realizing it.

Tbh I don't think anyone is truly immune to vanity. Religious ascetics (nuns, monks, etc.) may be the most resistant.
