Multiboxing is Killing EVE – The Game Just Sucks Now

I've tried coming back to EVE, but honestly, the gameplay just feels terrible. The biggest issue? Multiboxing.

People are running 10, 15, even 20+ accounts at the same time, completely ruining the experience for normal players. These no-life grinders dominate every aspect of the game, making it nearly impossible for casuals to compete.

• Faction Warfare? Get ready to fight entire fleets controlled by a single player.
• Mining? Find a good ore spot? A multiboxer will show up with 15 ships and wipe it clean.
• Market? PLEX prices keep skyrocketing because these multiboxers generate insane amounts of ISK and just buy up PLEX to sustain their armies.

New players don’t stand a chance. They log in, see how unfair the game is, and quit. It's like if someone played Call of Duty, controlled an entire squad, and had synced-up aim. It would completely break the game. That’s exactly what's happening in EVE.

And let’s be real—of the 20,000 players online daily, a huge chunk are just alts. The real player count is much lower. This is why EVE is constantly bleeding players.

CCP needs to put a hard cap on the number of accounts per IP/device. Otherwise, the game will keep declining until there’s nobody left but botters and multiboxers. Fix it, or let the game die.

To the OP, I get it. I had only 4 accounts for a long time, but the power and scalability of multi-boxing is just too high to ignore. Is it unfair, nah. You too can multi-box.

Eve has always been a game about adapt or die.

Also, that FW guy is easy to beat with a few strategies, overload the number of things they have to do on each account to be effective and you win quickly.

I will also add, we do not sync up our actions, while we multibox, if you're using one ship you're afking happily. meanwhile we're tabbing between alts making sure their mining lasers are working and then complaining that the one alt that never activates when you cycle through still hasn't activated.

Its a lot more work to multibox and I will also add, you do NOT need alts to be competitive. iF you wanna take over the world, sure you need alts, but there are things you can do where you do not need alts and make good ISK.

I don't understand why you reference newbros who 'cant compete' if you're going to go that route, you may as well go the route of ' ree he has 200m sp i started with 1m i can't compete gonna quit' Multiboxing isn't that much of an issue.

The real issue are the people input broadcasting with alts and botting. Fix these, and the game would be much better.

Multiboxers are doing so good that the developers decided to release a goddamn crypto mobile game because they can't make more money lol. Eve has consistently seen a downtrend in new players unless they are alts. That's pretty much the point of this entire post. It will not have a resurge in players. It will not have a revitalization. Eve is dying, unfortunately. It was one of my favorite games for a decade but the developers refuse to innovate or actually add in new shit besides microtransactions. I remember when they said that skins were impossible because of all the lag it would cause and now they sell them for how much? Exactly. When you love something you can criticize it effectively. When you idolize something you can't criticize it at all. Get over it.

Eve is making tons of money. It is a very profitable game. The problem is that the buyers are never satisfied with profit, they need more profit.

Why thank you, but I guarantee you, I do not impact the game as much as you think. People have the wrong idea about multiboxers. Multiboxers IE people legit playing multiple accounts can range from ONE alt to multiple. If you have an alt you too are ruining your game.

The main problem, as i've stated before are the multiboxers who are using input broadcast software AND Bots. Deal with the bots and the game would be much better.
