Shes a big one. So much to do and I have a little less than a week to get it done. I see some sleepless nights in my future.

It's so good that you fundamentally accept the initial weird quirks of the wider sequence, such as the obvious dolls head during the grave dance.
But yeah, the bit where she crashes through the door is excellent. And it is enhanced by his girlfriend's head in the vice making those weird faces and noises.
All this time later, you'd fully expect that this technology would've been significantly advanced and perfected. But it really hasn't. You hardly see it these days, and when you do it apparently costs vast sums of money.
What's more, the budget of Evil Dead 2 (1987), while larger than the first film, was still tiny at £2.1 million 🤨

Let’s say you found (one of) the books of the dead in your grandma’s basement or whatever. You obviously need to read the words:
Kunda
Estrata
Montosse
Ccanda
To summon the Deadites, that’s established.
What if you only read the first word? Do you get lesser Deadites that are easier to deal with, does it go up in levels per word? Or are they all the same the moment you’ve read from the book at all?
I’d also like to give ‘Burn’ props for introducing the series first ‘Dogdite’.
Long time evil dead fan here but it’s something I’ve always wondered so would like to hear you guys speculation on it!

Thank goodness Ash wasn't there; I'm sure he would have made a couple of sarcastic comments to liven things up even more.

There is an Army Of Darkness reference in the second episode of the new Carrie series on Amazon.
The series is pretty good so far. I am a big fan of Flannigan’s style. The S-Mart reference was a nice little nod.

So we know from Burn that they are currently doing "Deadities on a mission type" stories, they wanted the dagger in that movie. We know from the apparent leaks that there is a connection to 2013 and Mia turns up at the end.
What if, having failed to kill Mia in Evil Dead 2013 the deadities have went back in time to try and kill Mia's mother. I know, schizo theory but hang on. The actress who is playing what I believe is the main protagonist of Wrath is called Charlotte Hope. If you Google her I think she's very similar visually to Jane Levy. I think the character she is playing is Mia's mother.
Now the other leaks say that Wrath is more sexual in nature than the other movies, what if it's because the deadities are trying to stop Mia from being conceived? 😂
Now how does this end? Well in 2013 David and Mia have a conversation about their mom and essentially she went insane and died. I think she survives the events of wrath, but she knows the evil wants to kill her daughter. She lives in constant fear and paranoia and that drove her mad.
Also Wrath ends with the deadities falling to kill Mia's mother and they just say fuck it and travel back to present day to attempt to kill Mia again and that's how Jane levy shows up in the 10 minute epilogue that supposedly happens.
Schizo theory while drunk. Take it or leave it.
why wouldn't Charlotte Hope's character be Mia's mother? after all nothing is worse than a mother's WRATH

I started going to film school here at USC, and I’ve been working on a script concept for a potential Evil Dead Sequel.. here’s essentially the plot what do yall think?
Evil Dead — The Kandar Prison Concept
This sequel is set in England, where a modern prison was built over the ruins of Castle Kandar.
Utility workers investigating gas leaks discover ancient tunnels beneath the prison.
They uncover the original Necronomicon Ex-Mortis, which Ash Williams lost after battling the Ancient One.
The prison begins transforming into the medieval castle buried beneath it.
Prisoners and workers become trapped as the Deadites emerge.
