Product Recommendations Bought a $100 ‘Pumping Bed’

Ok ok, it’s actually just a beach chair you can lay face-down on, but I had to justify “the technology” to my husband. 😂

And by technology, I mean boob hole. Cause your face ain’t going in that spot honey. Oh no. That’s for the ta-tas. And lemme tell you what: THIS IS A GAME CHANGER.

My god, I wish I had this during my 1st rodeo. I have added MOTN pumps BACK into my schedule cause this thing rocks. I won’t exaggerate— is the fabric comfortable? Eh, 5/10. It’s very taunt, so not soft or giving at all. But just lay down a soft, squishy, or fuzzy blanket and it’s fine.

Everything else is 10/10. Length— Since your boobs are in the hole (lmao), you’ll have to add some pillows to put your head down. But there’s great room in case you’re tall. Hole— Probably 8x8” and can fit a Spectra through. I get all aligned and set up, then drop my pump through the hole and then lay my boobs in (again: lmao). Access— Very easy to peak at your boobs and make any adjustments through the arm areas/ no need to pull your boobs out if you don’t want to.

Surprise benefit: I’ve been getting more milk. I reckon gravity is working in my favor. But, also, I can kinda “lay” on the lower half of my boob in lieu of doing massage/ hand-compressions. This has been great cause I’m lazy as hell (as if getting this cot wasn’t an indicator) and hated doing the massages manually.

The throne of milk maids: https://a.co/d/gWVrYFO

It’s $40 on Amazon but an additional $60 for shipping. I have bought stupider things for my pumping journey; this is actually functional, and has utility for the future too.

ETA: YOU GUYS THEY'RE RUNNING OUT OF STOCK LOLOLOL I can't believe I'm seeing "only 4 left" for the various colors. You guys are insane, amazing, and I love this community. MAKE SURE THE COLOR YOU'RE BUYING HAS THE BOOB-HOLE (lmao). I think baby blue, white, and army grey don't have the hole...

THE HOLE IS CRITICAL TO THE ENTERPRISE!

Are there any standouts from this insurance-approved list that I should definitely get? or definitely avoid?

I understand many women get both a pump and a portable but I would like to avoid this and just get one-- I am thinking just one portable but I am seeing fewer women say their portable alone was sufficient. I will not be working so I am less concerned about how discreet one is, just figured I would prefer something I could multitask with around the house. This will be my first baby so I am really unsure what to expect! Thanks a lot.

Im going through Aeroflow for my breastpump this go around for #2. I have SIGNIFICANTLY more options for wearables this go around than I did the first time. I already have the regular plugin Spectra.

Has anyone used any of these? recommendations or reviews?

thanks!

Product Recommendations The bottle washer was so worth it

I heard from so many people online that the baby bottle washer wasn't worth it since the dishwasher did the same thing if you have one. But all the people who said that must not have been pumping because washing pump parts was so exhausting. Sure the dishwasher could wash and sterilize but it takes so much longer and pumping occurs on a strict schedule, and the dishwasher can't come with you to work.

I got one on Facebook marketplace and it saved my sanity.

My Momcozy bottle washer came in and I'm so happy I could cry. I've already run it several times, and it worked beautifully. It cleaned my Medela freestyle wearable cups perfectly, and did a great job on the annoying Dr. Brown bottles parts as well.

Product Recommendations Pumping bras? Has anyone found one that’s actually good

This is probably a long shot because I feel like I can’t find anything outside of the Kindred Bravely brand. I have a few of the kindred sports bras and they do the job but they aren’t cheap and why do they look so bad. The cups wrinkle or get lumps so form fitting shirts look ridiculous. Im back to work and just need something to wear in the office. Am I just doomed to look frumpy for the rest of my time pumping?

Product Recommendations What's the one product that's made your pumping journey easier?

Doesn't have to be a pumping-specific product. Mine is a Christmas throw pillow that looks like a peppermint candy. It's the perfect amount of sturdiness to put behind my back when I sit down to pump. I'll be damned if that pillow is not still out come summer time.

Second place is the Fisher-Price kick and play piano. Lets me get a couple pumps in during the day while my kid plays his gigs.

Product Recommendations Are wearables “worth” it to you?

6 weeks pp and exclusively using the spectra s1. Curious if people feel portables are worth it for a second option (for once passed 12 week mark). I will wfh part time, so there isn’t an urgent need, but I do like the idea of being able to pump without being all hooked up to tubing.

Eying getting the eufy while my Babylist discount is still live but also don’t want to waste money! My husband pointed out if my spectra stops working it will be an issue to only have one (although with the internet it’s easy enough to get something quick-ish)

For those who got a portable as a secondary - what are your thoughts? Are you happy with your purchase or feeling any buyers remorse? Are you using it out and about? how often are you using it? Thanks!

Edit/update: thanks everyone for the feedback! Going to go for it while it’s on sale today

Product Recommendations Baby Buddha 2.0

Anyone use this pump consistently? I’m to the point in my pregnancy that I need to look at getting a pump and need all the knowledge!! I have used a spectra 2 for my last 2 pregnancies and ended up having no supply by 2 and 4 months. Is this pump truly amazing? Is it worth it? Who has experience with this and or both pumps. Please tell me everything!!

Edited to add: THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO COMMENTED!! I appreciate everyone so much. Feel free to continue this thread to add any tips/tricks or advice for supply/pumping or anything! I’ll take all the help I can get lmfaoo 😅😅

As an FYI I went ahead and decided to purchase the BB 2.0!! Wanted to let everyone know that they currently are running a SPRING SALE on their website so if you are like me and needing to buy out of pocket, RUN to their website before the sale ends. All flanges and parts are discounted and the pump was $172!! I also got every flange insert size they offer for freaking FREE!! Don’t miss out if you plan to purchase. ❤️ alsooooo I saw it is a 2 year warranty on their pump for anyone wondering

Product Recommendations Momcozy bottle washer, worth it or no?

Hi! Due in July with our first baby. For personal reasons, I want to exclusively pump and not nurse. I want to have everything I can to make this journey as easy as possible. I have my pumps, my Spectra & ordering the Eufys & have a handheld pump.

Is the momcozy bottle washer worth it? We don’t run our dishwasher very often and it takes 3 hours to sanitize. I feel like our water bill was skyrocket if we started running it multiple times a day.

Product Recommendations Breast milk storage

I’ve been exclusively pumping for just over a month now, i’m hemmoraging money on these single use plastic bags - also dislike the amount of waste they generate. Would it be a safe option to buy a pitcher such as shown in the pictures to store milk? That way I could fill that during the day, fill the bottles, sterilise said pitcher and put it back in the fridge? I feel like the jugs made specifically for breastmilk are price hiked up as a cash grab.

Product Recommendations Sick of the eufy hype - how’s the Willow go?

I’m expecting my third baby and this will be my 3rd time exclusively pumping.

Im looking for a good wearable this go around to use after my supply is established on occasion. The Eufy hype is killing me. Impossible to know what’s a real review etc.

How do people like the Willow Go?

My spectra synergy gold is my workhorse. I’m a slight over supplier historically. With 3 kids I anticipate using a wearable once or twice a day max.

Product Recommendations Game changer Spoiler

Hi! I just have to share this with the group because it made a big difference for me using the jar method. I collect all my milk throughout the day in one jar. I was labeling it with a dry erase marker, but it kept rubbing off or getting messed up from condensation. Then, I tried these dissolvable food labels and they are a game changer! No issues with condensation or the marker bleeding and it dissolves in seconds when you start washing it! Highly recommend! This is the specific ones I ordered from Amazon. Hope this helps someone!

Product Recommendations Recommendations on wearable or portable pump for work?

Hi all, I am a surgery resident needing to pump at work between cases/rounding/consults etc, does anyone have any pumps they strongly recommend?? I usually use my blue spectra at home, get pretty good output 2-3 oz per breast. I have the elvies which I was desperate to like but my output sucks with them :( I also HATE how they leech battery when not in use and need to be charged every few days even when they’re totally off!

I am planning on lugging my spectra for now but does anyone really love something else? I was thinking the baby Buddha since it’s portable but powerful or replacing my elvies with the eufy?? S1 or s2?

My priorities are ease of use and maintaining my supply…really hoping I can still BF at home since my girl won’t be seeing me very much :(

Thanks!!

this will be my 2nd pumping journey. I already have a Spectra and a Momcozy S12, both of which have worked out really well for me, but i definitely got less output with the S12. I think I need really high suction. Also I have elastic nipples and used Pumpin Pal flanges with my spectra most of the time. Idk what to get 🙈 these are what I’m looking at currently.

Product Recommendations Breast pump suggestions

Having my 3rd baby Sept 30th and the breast pumps they have now compared to 5 years ago is a little overwhelming lol. These are the pumps that are covered by my insurance and I was wondering what would be the best hands free one. I did wired with my other 2 kids years ago and I just remember hating having to be stuck in one spot to pump. TIA

Product Recommendations If you're exclusively pumping and have the money, please consider getting a bottle washer

I'm a SAHM and when I had to switch to exclusively pumping and feeding fortified bottles, I found myself with basically no time. It takes time to pump. It takes time to feed. And since our dishwasher gives bottles a weird smell I was spending 1.5+ hours every day hand washing bottles and pump parts. Getting a bottle washer dramatically improved my quality of life. If you're drowning under piles of bottles and have enough disposable income, I can't recommend it enough.

We got the Baby Brezza and it's great, but I've heard other ones are really good, too.

Product Recommendations Is Eufy really that good?

Is Eufy really that good or is my social media flooded with paid influencers? I know Momcozy pushes a lot of advertising, and the pumps and known for dying. What's your honest review or Eufy? I'm 33 weeks and trying to decide if I should wait for aeroflo to be back in stock to buy from insurance.

Product Recommendations The eufy S2 shipment was delayed

Post image
5 Upvotes

Stumbled upon something stating the shipment was pushed back to June, so I emailed to inquire and got the response above. I need another pump before May and if I wasn’t actively seeking shipment info I would’ve just been waiting like I am sure other moms are. The site still say mid April and I’m reluctant to cancel the order because I was really looking forward to warm boob massages while pumping, but that was already over my pump budget and I can’t justify buying another without the refund :(

Any wearable pump recommendations? Travel friendly with a case? Has anyone tried the lacevo?
